Molly's POV

I was sitting in the break room when my coworker came in and said "They finally uploaded your first episode on Bondi Rescue Molly." I smile softly and we start watching and the first thing that comes up is "Viewer discretion is advised." It shows the lifeguard trials and Deano says "Today the trials are happening and-" He is cut off by Whippet saying "That group is holding someone up!" That's when the rescue hits and Hoppo says "One of the people trying out is in cardiac arrest when we read the medical tags we found that the lady has what's called Tetralogy of Fallot, what the paramedics told us is that its a set of four heart defects in one." Quinno comes up and says "When we got her heart beating again I recognized a good friend of mine her name is Molly Yamazaki she's 21 years old and is an air ambulance paramedic in America, She was trying out to be a lifeguard when her heart went into a chaotic rhythm paramedics call Ventricular Fibrillation. It basically means that the heart is quivering and not pumping blood to the rest of the body." I then say on the episode "I'm terrified of needles and I'm an air ambulance medic." The episode goes on to show Deano holding my hand as the paramedic puts in the IV; And a few rescues and it shows me when I come back to thank everyone for saving me. After 45 minutes the episode ends and I say "Wow that was powerful." She agrees and our pagers go off "CODE BLUE PEDIATRIC CCU." We are set into motion I run and grab the crash cart and i push it into the room as the childs nurse is doing chest compressions and I say "I'll run the code Leah manage the defibrillator please." Leah takes over the defibrillator control and I say "Lets stop for a rhythm check?" Lana says "Asystole." I then say "Back on the chest please." We fight to resuscitate the boy and we lose the fight and i talk to the parents of the 3 year old that coded "Xie Dingshan?" He answers "Yes, Hows our son Luke?" I say "Dingshan sir im sorry to say that at 3:30 this afternoon your son passed away in the Cardiac Care Unit." He bursts into tears as i continue speaking "We spent an hour and a half fighting to resuscitate your son but we couldnt bring him back." My voice cracks as i say that and I lead the two heartbroken parents to their sons room and i say with a thick voice "You can hold his body if you want." I then leave the room and i head out of the unit and i slide down the wall to the floor and i bring my knees to my chest and start crying hard. Little did i know Deano was home from deployment and had come to the hospital to see me and he walks up the hall to the unit door and sees me crying and he kneels down in front of me and says softly "Whats wrong hun?" I then say "A 3 year old died today, I was the resus team leader on today." He pats my knee and says "Come on Im taking you out surfing."
