2 years later
Jena was panting. She just finished her favorite 2 hour workout routine. It was Graduation day, and she had been selected as her class Valedictorian. She showered, did her hair and makeup, and left for the ceremony with her cap and gown. She walked into the gym and took her seat. The ceremony started and the principal called her up to make her speech.
"And now ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our Valedictorian for the Class of 2019, Jenavieve Bradley." The principal announced as people cheered.
"Thank you, Mr. Duvall. If you had told me 3 years ago that I would be standing up here, speaking to all of you, I'd have laughed and called you crazy. High school is a crazy time in life. You fall down and you struggle to get back up. That happened to me a lot. I struggled with myself and my life everyday, to the point where I want to end it all. Call me crazy, but during the time when I was asleep, I had a guardian angel show me the consequences of my actions. The people I would've hurt and left behind. He told me that I have an incredible life ahead of me, and not to miss a single minute of it. That is what I ask of you today. Live your best life. Make mistakes, fall in love, change your mind a million times and change it again. If you're presented an opportunity, take it and run. But I also ask you this. Be kind. To everyone you meet. If they break your heart and your trust then kick them to the curb. If you know someone to be struggling, help them. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Thank you." She said. The entire gymnasium erupted in cheers and applause.
She truly was happy.
