Jenavieve went on to live a long and happy life. She had four beautiful children and told them of her friend who saved her life, even though she didn't want to be saved. She was their best friend, always there with an open heart, door, and ear. She traveled all across the world with her husband, who she married at 23. They shared 72 years of love and happiness. She thanked her friend every morning and every night for her beautiful life. Then, the night before Jena's 104th birthday, she felt very tired and weak. So she went to bed early, hoping to sleep it off. Once she fell asleep, she saw the beautiful blinding light she had once seen as a teenager. She smiled as her friend came into view.
"Am I late, my friend?" She asked Death playfully.
"No, my love. You are right on time. I told you it would be incredible." Death smiled, wrapping her in a loving embrace, washing away her withered form, bringing her back as she was all those years ago.
"It was more than incredible. Thank you for saving me. Even though I didn't want you to, I'm so happy that you did." Jena said. Death took her hand as they walked together. Death's shroud melted away to reveal her loving husband, who had passed 8 years before her. Jena cried tears of joy at the sight of her true love. Looking back, she realized that it was him since the beginning. Death had stayed by her side through the most difficult and most joyous times of her life. She smiled as they walked hand in hand, ready to spend forever together in paradise.
