Trees. Trees. More trees. She doesn’t even know where she is anymore. All she can see was tree and yeah you guessed it right, more trees. She has been driving her Honda civic for 12 hours straight now, except for the bathroom breaks, going far away from them was the only thing in her mind. She must be so far from her home now, she thought bitterly.

She couldn’t believe it still that she had run away from everything she has ever known. Fate has made it such that she had to leave everything behind and run away. To protect them. From her impending doom. From the death chasing her.

She has been driving for too long. She could feel her body stiff. Sky had turned dark. She needed a break so badly. But she entered a forest a while ago. And she didn’t even know where she was anymore. She didn’t even know whether there is any town nearby. She was hungry and utterly lost. ‘Good, atleast they won’t be able to find me’, she thought sadly. She needed a break so badly. Sadly there was no sign of a town till now. ‘What if the forest stretches on for miles and there is no civilization in between. What will I do? Will I have to stop my car in the midst of wilderness to catch up on rest. Oh no!’, she could feel the panic creeping upon herself. She needed to calm down and find a solution, fast.

Once again, she realized how reckless and stupid she had been. But she couldn’t blame herself too much. There was no other way. She had to save them from her. Her family was the only good thing in her life. And she couldn’t let this destroy that. So she had to leave. She couldn’t continue living there anymore. Not when she knew what was coming and how that was gonna affect her family. She couldn’t destroy her family. No more.

She didn’t take her mobile phone, since it could be easily traced. She had taken some clothes and whatever money she could find. She went to the bank to withdrew the money for taking with her. It was not a smart idea to keep the hard cash on person especially while traveling to other places, but there was no choice. She had to do this.

She was regretting she couldn’t bring her phone. With that, she wouldn’t have been lost this badly. She realized how much she had relied on her phone before. She felt so lost. She prayed for a town to appear soon. She need to fill the gas for the car and fuel herself with food and sleep too.

It was already dark and the forest was starting to look eerie. She needed to find somewhere to stay for the night. Sleeping in the car didn’t sound so good at the moment. She was feeling so lonely and scared. She had never done something like this. ‘You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have’, How true was that quote.

Suddenly she noticed a sign board saying 'Westcreek Town'. She felt relieved. Atleast, God heard this prayer. Now hopefully she won’t have to sleep in the car in the midst of this jungle.

Soon, she started seeing signs of civilization. People walking on the sidewalks. Cars passing by. But it looked like a tight knit small town where everyone knows each other's life too well that secrets won’t remain secrets. She slowed down when she saw the Gas Station and stopped there. She got out and filled the gas. She looked around. She saw a 3 storeyed building with a giant sign board saying 'Westcreek Motel' at the top of the building. But the ground floor looked like it was a restaurant cum bar. It even had a sign saying ‘Foodies' on top of the entrance. She thought of checking it out. She parked the car and slowly made her way to the motel not knowing her life was yet again going to change, at that small town.
