Dome was looking at himself in the mirror as he brushed his teeth. Pavel stood beside him, doing the same.

'What am I doing?' he asked himself. Playing house with Pavel was both dangerous and stupid. It's very clear whose heart's going to get shattered in the end. But at this point, his defenses were at an all time low, and he had no fight left in him anymore.

They both sat quietly on the bed, Pavel reaching out for Dome's hand again. Their eyes locked.

'Pavel, I...' started Dome.

'Just tonight.' The bigger man's voice was pleading. 'Please?'

Dome nodded.

The rain continued to pour. Even with all the windows closed, for some reason, the room was almost freezing.

Dome had forgotten how long he has wished for this night to come. Trapped in Pavel's embrace, enclosed by his big spoon. His head resting on his beloved's bicep. The bicep that launched a thousand fandom. He couldn't help but smile. If only the fans could see them right now.

He told himself that they're not doing anything wrong. They're just lying in bed, and there wasn't even a peck on the cheek.

But he knew... that they're still cheating Pavel's girlfriend emotionally... that Karma's already on its way to deliver the blows.

He wanted to cry.

Why is it so difficult to love?

Did he do something wrong in his previous life? He didn't know what he's done to deserve this fate.

Pavel's embrace tightened. 'I don't deserve you,' he said. 'When I first saw you, I thought you were a stiff goody-good boy on the outside, but heartless and cold in reality. But also very handsome.' Pavel laughed. 'You were the most gorgeous man I've ever seen.

'But soon I learned,' Pavel continued, 'that you have a caring heart, and a loving soul, and that I wouldn't trade your dimples with all the gold in the world.'

Tears fell from Dome's eyes.

'Will you wait for me, Dome? I promise to make things right.'
