She scratched her face as Lawrence talked to the others.Today felt the weirdest. First, a nightmare, then she wakes up to her leg hurting and she banged her head against Eugene's, and then, she reads some letter from her father that she has to give to some random guy named Shinsen. Now, her head hurt so much. It wasn't from Eugene, she knew that.
Her father did mention something about an awakening being painful. Could it be that? Probably not, apparently you can only awaken if you're in desperate need. But, she wasn't in any desperate situation.
She got up and told Lawrence she was going to go somewhere. He asked where, but she responded with a simple shrug. She quickly left.

She stood where Ryan had seen her. She stared at the brick fence. One of the only reasons Lawrence and the others had managed to clear out the area. Without it, none of them would be able to get out without being hoarded by zombies.
"Why the gloomy expression, Shortstack?"
She slightly jumped out of surprise. She sort of missed the speaker, barely. The speaker was always teasing her. Though, comforting, they're mostly annoying. She turned around with a calm face.
"Nothing much, Kyle."
The boy grinned, though you couldn't see it. The boy had black hair, uneven a bit, gray eyes, his mask, and the usual jacket. He walked closer to her, "You still thinking about Ryan, huh?" She hesitantly nodded, knowing Kyle never really liked Ryan for some reason. "Let's go out for a walk."
The two walked side by side. Conversations all started by the boy.

"Kyle, you already awoken your third eye, right?" (YN) asked. Kyle responded a few seconds later, "Yup. Why?" She touched her forehead, rubbing it as she told him, "Does it hurt? Is it supposed to hurt? How do you know you're awakening it?" He pulled her wrist down and put his own hand down on her forehead. "It does hurt, yes, you'll know when you know."
He quickly removed his hand and looked to the side as they continued to walk. Some gurgling was heard but was ignored. (YN) took her bat out, waiting. Five zombies walked out of the alleyway, immediately staring at the duo. "You want to fight them, Kyle?" He shook his head, "I'll just watch, thank you very much." He crossed his arms as the zombies approached. One zombie tried to bite him, but he sidestepped. (YN) knocked some head off, some legs off too.
"They're not your movie-like zombies, huh?" She shook her head. He pouts, annoyed, "Every since you got this mission, it's like you lost your voice." She scoffed, "How about I scream to get everybody's attention?" He glared at her. "Anyway, do you know what the date is?" "It's December 28th, 20XX." She realized how little time she had left. Her birthday had already past, two days ago when Ryan came around. She only has two days left, she only got the letter today. Who knows what would happen if she doesn't make the deadline? Everybody has done it before the deadline, nobody in history of the world has gone past the deadline without the time being expanded or what not. "Do you know anybody named Shinsen?" He nods. "Who doesn't? ... You don't, do you?" She shook her head. "I have to deliver a letter to him." He smiled. They walked back.

Zion saw the girl come back. Zion walked to the girl and ruffled her hair.
