Arthur studied the wanted poster we had pick up from the Sheriff.

"Are ya sure this is the-"

"Darlin', you've asked me thousands of times.... yes that's the man we need to get." I let out an annoyed sigh.

Arthur mumbled before shoving the paper in his satchel. We rode along in silence for awhile. Our destination was around Rhodes to find a murderer named Jeb Baker.

"Did you hear about that weird er... thing that happened in Valentine?" Arthur asked me.

I took a moment to think about it.

"The guy that was getting bare-ass spanked by his wife before they had se-"

"No, Robin. What the hell?" A look of disgust washed over his face.

(Funny story: I was in Valentine, I believe, and JUST as I was about to leave around 8-9 pm I heard some noises from a house and two people were lookin in a window so i did too and SOME DUDE, BARE ASSED DICK OUT, WAS GETTIN SPANKED BY HIS WIFE. LIKE A KINK. AND IT WAS SO WEIRD. Anyway carry on.)

"It was a funny story! What were you talking about?" I turned my eyes back on the road.

Arthur rubbed his face in a frustrated manner before chuckling a bit.

"Well story is that a farmer had a pig die, from old age he assumed, and as he went to move it from his lawn... it was moving. And snappin' at the other pigs. One shot to the head killed'em. Of course... I don't know if that's true or not. Just found it interestin'." Arthur finished.

"Huh. I've heard some weird stories before but that's one of the weirdest. I'm assuming you wrote 'bout it in your diary?" I teased.

He glared at me before nodding.

"Not a diary by the way. But yeah I did." He gave a big sigh.

We continued to ride in silent. Rhodes was only fifteen or so minutes away.

"Do ya ever wander- er, ever regret what we used to do?" Arthur suddenly asked.

I gave him a confused face.

"Killin' innocent folk. Robbin' places. Puttin' people you care about in danger. We did that a lot. Do you ever regret it?" He rephrased.

I gave it a long thought.

"Yeah. I regret it. But I wouldn't change it." I said.

"Huh?"

"We make mistakes, we're humans it's impossible to not do. But a lot of those mistakes make us who we are. That doesn't mean it makes the mistakes right. But we learn from it and grow and if everyone else has forgiven ya but you still feel guilty maybe... maybe it's time for you to forgive yourself. Might take time but it's worth it. Why the question?" I finished.

"I was just thinkin' about things." Arthur shrugged it off.

I nodded slowly and we continued on our way and arrived at our destination.

Oh how I wish I took a different route to Rhodes. Would've saved me a lot of trouble.

---

"Sweetheart, see that smoke? I bet that's him." Arthur pointed to smoke rising in the sky.

"Ooooh yeah, I see it. Hmm. Okay, cowpoke, I'll go through the back. You can go through the front." I told him.

Arthur gave me a blank look.

"What?" I glanced at him.

He just shook his head and waved me off, going around the front of the camp so he could distract the bounty.

I hopped off my horse and crouched down and went to the back. Immediately I heard Arthur strike up a conversation with the man.

Now everything would've went fine. It would've went great, in fact, but I didn't know he had a damn dog. A very mean dog.

As I had my lasso out, the dog immediately rushed to me and grippeREeeeEeeee I tried not to scream and I wouldn't of screamed...

But he had another damn dog that also immediately jumped up and locked onto my arm.

I bit my tongue as I fell backwards and I felt blood rushing out of my mouth from the new painful injury. I heard gunshots and horse shoes and then just silence except for me cursing and the dogs tearing my flesh away.

I managed to grab a knife and plunge it into the shoulder blade of the dog on my arm. It let out a pained yelp before trying to run away. Grabbing my pistol, I hit the dog that was locked on my leg with the butt of my gun. I hit it again and this time I seemed to knock it's brain around a little bit.

It let go but stumbled away a few steps before trying to turn around to run... and hit smack dab into a tree and fell down, dead.

The last thing I remember was saying "I hate dogs" before blacking out...
