Katherine was surprised to see the spell work. She'd known witches, many of them, most of them she'd met while fleeing. But you. Strikingly ordinary and easily forgotten. You had managed to pull off a spell many hadn't and she was impressed. Now you had her attention. Though having her attention was something dangerous in of itself.
"You really are a witch." She commented.
"I am. Most of my family were."
"Were?"
"Well, we happen to have some spells that vampires like, you know the whole walking in the daylight thing." You muttered, looking out over the sunset, noting Katherine's delayed appearance. "We don't exactly live long."
"Well. I'm sure if you could see to helping me I could help you."
"Are you saying if I help make you a daylight ring you'll be in my debt?"
"Well, you are the only coven member that knows how to make them without a grimpoire's guidance so. Make me a ring that protects me from the sun and I will protect your bloodline from whatever I can." She offered carefully.
"The next full moon will be all hallows eve. I think i can arrange that. If you can keep that vampires that lurking away." You glanced at her and she smiled wickedly, already planning who to get the botheroms blood suckers off your tail.
