The First Competiton

( Midnights POV )

I stand their as we all look up at Chapat and wait for him to begin. He starts to explain how the games work. " Each day their will be one competition and one battle! Starting with the competition points have been divided among teams according to their ranking in the elimination round, From first to eighth." I jump back as a stone score board pops through the earth showing all teams their current place in the games I frown as I see Fairy Tail as the bottom with the number zero by it. Chapat continues." For the competition each team can select one of their members to take part. And for the battle part the results of fan votes will be taken into consideration when the sponsors make the pairings. The rules are simple. Teams will face against each other.The winning team will receive ten pints and the losing team getting zero points. In the case of a tie, both teams will receive five points. And now the Grand Magic Games opening game! Lets begin "Hidden!". I look around as I see the crowd go crazy people were screaming there heads off and holding sighs with guild symbols on the. "Hidden? What tip of game is that?" I ask I couldn't think of any game that would involve hiding so much it would be the tittle. Chapat's voice rings through the megaphone ripping me away from my thoughts "Teams choose your member and and come up to the field. I'll explain the rules of the game after all of the players are on the field." He says and teams immediately turn to one an other and I turn to the others I look around wondering if anyone wanted to go I'm about to speak up and offer as three different guilds picks it's member "From Quatro Ceberus, Yeager. Mermaid Heel, Beth Vanderwood. Blue Pegasus, Eve Tilm!" Shouts Chapat keeping on top of everything. I stare at the Blue Pegasus member he was the boy who had said if he won I had to join his guild. He catches me staring and blows me a kiss. I look away thankful that Chapat didn't commentary that part. I start to feel my face turn tomato red and look down to hide it. I look to the others "I'll g....." I was cut of as two more guilds pick their members. "Sabertooth, Rufus Lore. Limia Scale, Lyon Vastis." Chapat says interrupting me for a second time. I turn around to see Gray step up and volunteer I roll my eyes annoyed and watch as each Fairy Tail team Picks it's member. " Fairy Tail A Team, Gray Fullbuster. Fairy Tail B Team, Juvia Lockser!" Announces Chapat one last time as I look over all the contestants. I start to pray that they'll all come back alive. All the participating players were set I look watch as the pumpkin man walks up to the players and greats them I hear Julia mumble "Not creepy pumpkin man!" She complains as she spots him I shoot up into the sky and for a moment when suddenly the pumpkin man shouts flying his arms to both sides lousily "Open Field!" I gasp and watch in wonders as houses start to appear in the field, then stores, and churches my eye widen a little as I see a full out town I the arena just sitting there. "Begin!" Shouts pumpkin man happily and Gray and the other players disappear. TV screens pop around the crowd. One screen pops up right in front of me. I look at it to see Gray wildly looking back and forth. The screen flashes to Rufus and I watch as he heads off. Suddenly millions on Grays, Juvias, and the others participating appear all holograms. I smile as I start to under stand the name of the game "Hidden" Hidden was like hide and seek but everyone was the seeker and everyone was the hider. I feel Julia, Natsu and the other members in my team walk over and lean over my shoulder watching the screen as well. "This should be interesting." I say. The screen goes to Eve and my face lights up like a Christmas tree I couldn't help it he was still blowing an occasional kiss here and there toward the camera. Julia smirked and I whip my hair in her face as I look over my shoulder to see her. She had a smirked plastid on her face and I scowl at her "He's got it bad for you!" She says teasingly I turn a deeper shade of red and start to walk away and head to the infirmary I couldn't watch I could feel the camera controlling what the screen showed zone in on my red face. I see my magenta face appear on a screen in the crowd out of the corner of my eye. I rush to the tunnel and leave to go see Wendy. I walk down the tunnels and go through a maze of twists and turns as I look for the infirmary. I stumble down the right hall and count the doors on the right side I count the sixth door and knock hoping I got the right room. All doors here look exactly alike. No one answers the door and I open it and walk in. I see Wendy sleeping on her bed and I rush over to her I notice Carla with her to lying in bed as well. I look down at them and more tears come running down my face starting to leave a salty flavor in my mouth. Why did I come here I'm just gonna wake them up and Wendy needs her sleep I think as I just watch them sleep feeling helpless and useless. I turn around my vision become in little blurry form my tears and leave the room I hear the screaming of the crowd as I shut the door behind me. I wonder down the hall whipping my tears away I bump into someone and open my mouth "I so sorry Si...." I say as I look up to see Rogue. I look over him more closely as he just looms over me for a minutes my eyes widen and tears form as I catch a sad look in his eyes. H-He looked so much like brother! I turn around and rush away tears staining my face now I don't no why it hit me so hard but it did. Brother and Rogue look so similar.

( Rogue POV )

I get up from my set as Midnights red face appears on the screen. I turn around and leave no one noticing a Sting keeps his eyes glues to the TV screen. I start to wonder down the halls looking for something to so I turn a corner and I fell a small figure bump into me I look down to see Midnight crying "I'm sorry Si......." She begins but stop as she realizes it was me. We stare at watch other for a minute her eyes widen sudden and she rushes away from me crying harder. I stand their not knowing what to do as I watch Midnight turn the corner and run off.
