Flare Versus Julia

I sit up and look around to find myself lying on the benches of the Fairy Tail Guild watching center, I sit up. Why was I here? I was supposed to be with the others, Erza and all the participating players . I shake away all questions as I notice Romeo walk up to me. I open my mouth to greet him but as I do I see a pretty blond haired girl, her hair went down to her knees and she had breath taking gorges green eyes and a large pink dress who was sitting on the edge of the watching center her feet dangling down into the audience. "Wwwwhhhhoooosss that!" I shriek as I see her all the members turn toward me and smile as they see my surprised face. Romeo laughs and grabs my hand pulls me off the benches and leading me toward her. As we approach Romeo taps the girl on the shoulder and she turns around reviling a pretty face and a sweet smile. Her eyes seamed to have a kinda strong but cute feel and I could see mischief and fun gleaming through her smile. I smiles back "This is Master Mavis the founder of Fairy Tail." Romeo says as I look over to him telling him to introduce me. "Nice to meet you!" I say happily. "So your Midnight, I've heard so much about you!" She answers. I shoot they guild members a "YOU TOLD HER!" Look, in return the give me nervous smiles. "Don't worry I won't tell anyone." Mavis replies and I sigh in relief and turn towards the arena as Chapat's voice rings through the the megaphone. The daily battle was about to begin. O I hope I'm not picked.
( Julia's POV )
I hear Chapats voice ring through the arena and I stop. "For our daily battle we have. From Fairy Tail A team, Julia Cross!" Says Chapat as I look around as the crowd goes wild at my name I laugh and put on a smug smile. "Versus Flare Corona from Ravin Tail!" My smile drops and I start to growl as I see a red braided haired girl wearing a little to reviling dress step up to the arena. I looked her up and down trying to find any hints of her magic, I couldn't tell at all, but I'll tell you one thing she was creepy as hell. The only thing I could take note of was her unnaturally long hair. I'm pulled away from my thoughts when the damn pumpkin man shows up again and explains the rules, to put it in a nutshell we had 30 minutes to win, if we won he received 10 points if we lost zero if the match ends before we can finish each other off it's a tie and both teams get 5. The damn pumpkin ran off as a gong rang through the arena. As he ran off he shouted one word as he exited the danger zone "Begin!" I smile as the battle begins. I didn't hold back. "Shadow Sink!" I yell not letting Ravin Tail show me up. I fall into my shadow, I rush in the safety of the darkest towards Flare I reach out and try to grasp her ankle I miss as she jumps up into the air. I jump out of my shadow as she gracefully lands to the floor. Flare smiles as me evilly and I fill with a uncontrollable rage. I open my hand out as if to give a hug and slam them together my hands clapping as I shout angrily "Shadow Chaser!" My shadow rips away from me and charges Flare around the arena she runs for only a moment then faces the shadow. Her hair suddenly grows even more and it falls from the braid. Her hair catches fire and blocks my attack injuring me shadow, It retreats back and sinks what into the floor. As I see her fiery hair swirl around her one though come to my mind I couldn't help it. "Wow, Fire that's original" I decide to kick it up a notch up. I pull my hands behind my back them shoot them forward and yell "Shadow Binder!" My shadow flows my hand as I point to Flare and rushes at her as it gets with in five feet of Flare a huge dark shield surrounds her trapping her inside a upside down bowl like shape. Every one is silent as a minute passes and Flare doesn't come out I smile.... Did I win? I turn toward the crowd as I wait to be announced winner everybody looks at me sadly and I turn around Flare stand their unharmed and perfect "Shit!" I this as her hair swirls a rounder like a tornado eye. "Hair Dog, Wolf Fang!" Yells Flare her hair wips at me turning into a wolf I snicker, I'm not that easy to defeat. I flick my wrist toward the on coming wolf. "Shadow Cutter!" I say as a black blade appears in the air and slices the hairy animal. Flare falls to the floor defeated I pump a fist in the air declaring victory the crowd goes wild I turn toward Flare "BITCH, What you gonna do!?" I happily. Flare's hair suddenly rushes toward me feet her air raps around my ankles. Her hair lifts me into the and drags me against the arena walls afterwards slamming me to the ground.
( Midnight's POV )
I watch in horror as Julia is slammed
against the walls of the arena I lean forward over the edge and Romeo joins me. "Julia!" Romeo yells worriedly. I look over at Romeo surprised.... does he... like Julia? I shake away the though and turn back to the arena to see Julia slammed to the floor. "DONT GIVE UP, JULIA!" I scream over the roaring crowd. A small tear drops down my face as a sentence repeats through my head "We take no responsibility for any lives lost." Julia please, be ok.
( Julia's POV )
I hit the ground and gasp in pain. I feel myself slammed to the wall again and help down. "Shadow Wipe!" I mumble, a wipe of total black appears in my hands. I flick my wrist and send if toward Flare. She relishes me and blocks the blow with her hair I spring into action and flick the wipe again. The wipe raps around her waist and I feel something rap around mine as well. I foolishly look down to see long tangled red hair around my waist and I launch wipe to the air Flare copying me. Me both take flight and release your wipes. She circle each other in the sky and wipe each other. We land to the ground panting slitty. I suddenly feel a small ounce of pain shot through my feet. I look down to see my boots roasted. I groan angrily, I had just bought those boots! I peel my boots off and complain loudly. I look over at Flare as I finish and see her hair ablaze swirling around her again. She drives her hair into the ground. I wildly look around were was the attach going to come from? My eyes skipped over the audience and onto the Fairy Tail watching center and hold a gasp as I see a little strand of red fiery hair swing threateningly. It was beside Romeo ready to take him down in one blow. No one noticed the hair as they all stared at me waiting in anticipation for the next attack wondering who would strike first. I open my mouth to shout a warning to everyone but instead I fell the taste of shampoo and WAY to much conditioner fill my mouth as Flares hair gags me. I try to counter attack with my shadow wipe, but fail as more hair raps around my waist and slams me to the all to familiar arena floor. "Don't take, Don't fight, Don't do anything!" Flare orders removing her hair from my mouth as she stares evilly at me. I can't help but roll me eyes at this, Who did she think she was? As Flare sees this she angrily starts to throw me left and right wiping me. I show no emotion no pain as she beats me refusing to give her such false satisfaction. She stops realizing her plan to break me was failing. I then hear Romeos voice yell "DONT GIVE UP JULIA!" I open my mouth Romeo just gave me the answer, if I had to quite to make sure he doesn't get hurt that's a small prize to pay. Flare immediately gags me with her hair the taste of conditioner kills my taste buds. "I won't let you surrender!" Flare says. More strands of hair appear and rap around my ankles and wrists. They hoist me up and position me as if I was up against a invisible wall. "I'm just getting started, playing with you." I tear up a little as her word sting my ears. What kind of sick twisted game was this!? "You understand? No taking, and no fighting!" Flare asks and explains happily as she catches sight of my tear brimmed eyes. I force a nod. "However I will make a exemption for screaming!" Flare says unwrapping her honey conditioner hair from my mouth I gag as the taste starts to leave my mouth. Flare starts to circle me Happily taking her time. "What shall I do with you first." I stare at her and hiss angrily as she goes on. "Maybe I'll tear off your clothes in front of all these people ... That would be funny!" I snare as Flares eyes sparkle with anticipation. "I have a even better idea." She states I take note as the rest of her hair that wasn't holding me down light up into bright orange and yellow flames. I watch as a small part of that hair shapes into the Ravin Tail Guild Symbol. She waves the fiery symbol in my face her eyes sparking brighter. "I'll brand the Ravin Tail symbol onto your body!" Flare explains happily. I start to squirm and twist and turn in her hair as her symbolizes hair gets closer to me. If she really did this it would be like I betrayed Fairy Tail! I can't let that happen! "A brand that'll never fade away." Flare cackles. A memory flashes in my eyes. I was 13 and standing out side the Fairy Tail guild as I watch cows walk across the guild entrance. I notice the Fairy Tail symbol on there skin and rush over to the master at the time and ask why the cows has the Fairy Tail symbol "To show that there Fairy Tails cows." He had replied simply. I look back at him "Can we take the symbol off them?" I ask not happy that cows had the same mark I did. "No it's a mark that'll never fade away." He answers. I snap back to the present and stop fighting as I relies it was useless the more I fought the tighter the grip the hair had on me. "Where would you like me to put it?" Flare asks as she examines me. Her face brightens and she wakes over to me and cliches my hand her nails digging into me. "I know, I'll put it over your Fairy Tail symbol, That way you'll never forget me." I scowl hiding my fear. I didn't know what to do I couldn't stay quite and let Flare win but I couldn't fight ether or Romeo would get hurt. Anger gets the best of me as I growl "Damn you." into her ear. Flare seams to snap at this and grabs my face "I told you not to talk!" Flare snaps back she releases my mouth and a lines her Ravin Tail symboled hair with my Fairy Tail mark. She slowly moves the hair closer and closer letting me wait in fear. Second away from my skin Flare shrieks in pain clutching her hair I look towards the Fairy Tail watching center.
( Midnight's POV )
I look around as Julia's face flashes in my eye she looked worried like there was a unseen threat. I look around wildly as I hear Julia being slammed around I knew she wS holding back, but why? What was so important that she had to let herself get hurt to protect it? A idea hits me, Guild members Julia would never let a guild member get hurt if she could help it. But I had one guild member in mind. I rush toward Romeo and gasp as I see a strand of red hair swing back and forth in the wind next to Romeo waiting to attack on command. I calmly walk toward Romeo not sure if Flare was watching him. I tried to pretend like I didn't see anything and I was just a normal member wanting to talk with a close friend. I reached Romeo and stood beside him silently "Romeo!" I hiss/whisper into his ear. He turns toward me "What?" He ask "Look down!" He looks down and his eyes widen in shock he doesn't move as he watches it. "I'm going to get rid of it, but I don't no if Flare is watching you stay calm and act like you don't no!" I reply bending down. Before he could even respond I grip the hair and burn in into my black flames I suddenly ear a scream and I no it's Flare I smile as I stand back up. Julia stare at me and I gave her a small wink "GO JULIA!" I shout and she turns away this time having nothing to hold back.
