NATHAN'S POV
If anyone sets eyes on this girl, they would easily understand why I say she is exceptionally beautiful. The calmness in her sea blue eyes can make one feel absolutely refreshed. As she exited the tall building, I admired her beauty while she approached my car.
"Thank you very much for everything. She's fine." She said shyly and rested her hands on the clean window. I smiled and nodded awkwardly.
"It's nothing really! I'm glad she is." I responded. Her smile was graceful as well as beautiful. Cold silence took over and she broke it with her sweet voice.
"Okay. I'm going to head back inside now. Thank you once again." She said, smiled and turned around swiftly. She came to an abrupt halt as I called loudly behind her.
"Wait! Could I get your number so we could get to know each other?" I asked politely. I looked closely at her as she made her way back to my car.
She stood quietly, not uttering a single word. Her slender fingers gripped the window again as she spoke. "I lost my phone at the party..."
"Oh I forgot. Maybe I could visit sometime?" I suggested before my busy brain interrupted rudely.
'You're really desperate, huh?' 'Shut up brain. This isn't desperation. Have you seen how beautiful...'
"Okay. It's dorm room 276, sixth floor." She said snapping me out of the conversation between my annoying brain and I.
"Sure. I'm Nathan." I smiled unknowingly. Why am I smiling? I put out my hand for her, still smiling.
"I'm Eve." She replied, and shook my hand slowly. "Okay, see you later, I guess. Bye." She made her way swiftly back inside the large building as I whispered a soft 'bye'...

EVE'S POVBack at Emma's, her ears were itching so much to hear exactly what happened. I've tried countless times to make her understand that it wasn't a big of a news.
"Okay, okay fine! I will tell you. He asked for my number but I couldn't give it to him because...."
And I was cut off...
"You didn't give him your number!?" Emma asked, surprised and disappointed. She looked at me with mixed emotions drawn on her face.
"Yes and if you had let me finish, you would have known why." I said sternly. "I lost my phone at the party."
"Oh... so what did you tell him?" She asked me with enthusiasm.
"He knew but forgot so i told him my dorm number instead." I said and shrugged.
"Yes! I told you! Now thank me." She stated, smiling.
*FLASHBACK*
'How sure are you that 'Mr Right' isn't among those boys?' Emma asked.
'Seriously? Do you really think I'm going to find 'the one' at a college party? You joke too much, please.' I snapped back and rolled my eyes.
'Why not? I love you Eve and that's why I'm doing all this for you. Believe me. She said calmly.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Well, Emma did say that. But is he Mr Right? I just met him though. We'd just have to take things slow to wait and see how it goes.
"Hey!" she snapped her fingers and I was brought back to earth. "I'm still waiting..." She proudly smiled.
"How do we even know he's the one? We literally met minutes ago. We have to wait to see what happens, okay? So your 'thank you' is reserved for now." I boldly said and she smiled.
"Thank me, thank me!" She constantly tickled me as I said it. Emma knew I didn't like to be tickled. She knew I would do anything just to get away from being tickled.
"Th-thank yo-u, th-th-ank y-ou! I said it!" I laughed hard, almost tearing up and Emma stopped.
"That's what I wanted to hear. Now, you have to make up for keeping me worried..." An evil smile crawled up her face.
"No, no! Em-ma, Emma!" I screamed as she tickled me again.
