Ch.6 A deal

Erins Pov.

Before the sun could hit my eyes and before I felt the pain rush back into me from what had occurred the night before. I felt strong arms wrap around me and set me down on something soft and warm.

  My vision slowly came back and there before me was Ezer. The look on his face indicated that something major had happened and that I was not going to like it.

At all.

His lips parted to speak then closed as though he couldn't find the words to say what was on his mind.

"Spit it out." I mumbled shivering a bit due to the fact that I had spent the night in the snow and was now in an obnoxiously warm room.

His eyes widened a bit before he began. "The Elders know you were marked."

I dropped my gaze from his, its over I thought it's all over.

"They know he did it by force and are speaking to him now about what is at stake. I told them to banish him from the land. But he is our new Alpha Male now that you have been marked. They refuse to listen to me because of his new position here."

My heart ached at his words as they fell from his lips.

"So the Elders and I came up with something."

My ears perked up. He negotiated with the elders? But they hated him and he hated them. My confusion must have been obvious because he began to explain.

"We are giving him six months to somehow fix this mess and if he succeeds the pack will recognize him as their Alpha Male, If he does not.. he will relinquish his title of Alpha to you and go rouge. His pack and all he has will be yours."

Ezer finished.

My eyes were wide and my mouth ajar.

My pack was standing by my side, my elders were standing by my side. Hell even the mate I had as little as I wanted him was trying to be by my side.

"Did he agree?" I questioned.

"Go see for yourself." His smile was wide and his eyes glistened.

After I changed I ran to the elders meeting hall as fast as my feet could carry. I was outside the door about to open it when the door swung open to reveal the elders and my mate. My eyes locked with his, his instantly turned gold on contact with mine.

As I walked in the Elders stared at me while I took seat. They all began to sit as I had just done. Elder Zaia began to speak.

"Alpha Erin as you are aware Alpha Ryker as well as the Elders have come to a compromise on how to proceed with this...Situation."

Simon stood up and began after she spook with an angered expression on his face.

"Let it be know Alpha Erin I do not agree to this compromise and think it best that the two Alphas accept each other for the good of the packs. I think Alpha Ryker would agree."

A loud growl came from Rykers throat. "Do not a speak for me old man you know nothing of what I want or think should be done at this time."

Simons look of anger turned to confusion as he sat back down nodding his head in submission. Even though he was a former Alpha his true nature was that of a regular pack wolf so he knew to step down in the face of a pure blood Alpha male.

Zaia spoke once more as she began to slip me a document.

"With this contract Alpha Erin and Alpha Ryker are bound as mates for six months, if within those months Alpha Erin chooses to accept Alpha Ryker the packs will merge and the contract will become void. If not Alpha Ryker will hand over his pack to her  and become a lone wolf..a rouge."
