The next morning, as she had done every morning, Kelsi returned. John came down the stairs, stopping at the bottom when spotting the young redhead.

"What are you doing here so early?" He said before heading into the kitchen. "Don't be so surprised. I've been here every morning." She answered calmly.

"You were gone for a while." He rebuttled. "True, true." She nodded. "Anyway, Sherlock isn't wake yet, right?" She asked, shifting in place. "Not that I know if, but who knows with him." He replied.

She went and sat on the couch, crossing her legs. John went and sat down in a chair nearby, sipping his freshly brewed coffee. She sat quietly for a moment, tapoing her fingers on her knee. "So John..." She began, causing John to look up from his cup. "How do you feel about Sherlock?" She asked. "You two are good friends, right?"

"He's my best friend... And even that's a bit of an understatement. Why?" He said. "Oh. It's just... you know, you live together, eat together... pretty much do everything together." She chuckled, causing John to sigh. "I will tell you like I told everyone else I'm not gay." He stated, putting his coffee down.

"Well that's good." She chuckled a bit. "What? What's good about that?" He raised a brow. "Oh uh. It's just... I love you." John's eyes widened as he heard this. "Oh." Is all he could muster.

"I've always really admired you for your blog and everything you've gone through." She said, standing up. "Listen, Kelsi, I'm flattered-" He was interrupted by her lips pressing against his for a moment. "No, you listen. I want to be with you, John." She whispers. "You can't tell Sherl--"

"Tell me what?" Sherlock said sterny as he stood at the bottom of the stairs. John's cheeks burnt red. Kelsi gave a very slight smirk but it disappears quickly. "O-oh. Good morning, Sherlock." She said, with a flustered tone.

"It appears you're having quite the good morning." He stated, raising a brow. "It's not what is looks like, Sherlock." John explained. Sherlock just walked into the kitchen.

"I just got a call from Lestrade. There's another body. Another note." Sherlock stated. "Really? What'd the note say?" Kelsi asked. "Same as before. 'Get Sherlock'."

"Strange." She commented. "Whoever is doing this really wants your attention." She added. "We're examining the body after breakfast." Sherlock replied. "It wasn't the same cause of death this time."

"Then let's get something to eat!" Kelsi carried on as if five seconds ago never happened. "Oh! I know!" She cheered and turned, speedwalking into the kitchen. "I'll make something!"
