She sat up.
Her head banging from the night before, remembering nothing that had occurred. Her vision was blurry, as she rubbed her eyes to try to clear them from just waking up. Soon, she could see around her, bottles of different alcoholic beverages lay on the coffee table in front of her. She rubbed her head, feeling an aching pain suddenly punching her. She looked around more to find she was in a house; in the living room on a couch. She'd been sleeping on the couch. She sighed, slightly embarrassed and, closed her eyes for a few seconds, letting herself ease the pain that her head caused. It felt like someone was smashing a hammer against her head, and any light triggered it. She opened her eyes again, feeling the pain but ignored it and got up. She walked around clumsily and held onto walls to keep her balance. Her headache got worse the longer she standing, it was almost unbearable. She soon walked into a hallway, and opened the first door there was to find a beautiful girl sleeping soundly in her bed. She smiled and saw it was just her girlfriend Sky. She entered the bedroom and walked towards the bed, quietly slipping under the covers and next to her love. She wrapped her arms around Sky, and pulled her close softly, trying not to wake her up. The warm feeling of Sky's body next to hers made her smile, as she loved cuddling with her girlfriend. She took her hand and played with her soft, blonde hair.
"Kale..?" She heard a soft voice call. Sky turned around to look at her, her beautiful green eyes peering into Kales brown eyes. Kale smiled, "What it is it?"
"I missed you." Sky said, wrapping her arms around Kale's waist. Sky closed her eyes and smiled.
"I'm glad your back home and safe."
"What happened?"
"I don't really know.. You said you were going to the bar and didn't come back that night.. I wanted to get you but it was late and I can't drive.. I was worried sick!" Sky said, wrapping her arms tightly around Kale's waist; bringing them closer together.
"How come I woke up on the couch?" Kale said, still confused.
"Late at night you came storming in, really drunk. It woke me up, and as you were trying to walk here you just fell on the ground. I ran and helped you out on the couch.. I guess you decided to get up later to drink some more or something because you got up and fell again."
"Geez, thats embarrassing.. I'm sorry," Kale replied. "I should've never left. I literally don't remember anything from yesterday."
"Its okay, I'm just glad you're safe!" Sky spoke, as she kissed Kale's soft lips. Kale kissed back, their lips embracing each other. "Now, you need rest!" Sky said stopping. "By the time you wake up I'll make you a good breakfast... or lunch!"
Kale smiled and buried her face in the pillow, blushing at Sky's generosity. Sky was purely adorable. She felt the bed get lighter as Sky was starting to stand up when all of a sudden, Kale grabbed her and pulled Sky back down on the bed, showering her in sweet kisses all over her pretty face. Sky yelped and giggled.
"Kale!"
Kale stopped and smirked. "Whaatt?"
"I have to get uppp." Sky replied. Kale made a pouty face and put one of her hands on her cheek. "But whyy?"
"Becausee I need to get everything readyy." Sky smiled up at Kale. Kale was confused. "Ready for what?"
"You don't remember, silly?"
"Nope."
"Well, today is Sunnies 4th birthday! We are having a party here at 2:00 p.m. I got all the decorations and I just need to put everything together."
"How could I forget my own niece's birthday." Kale said while smacking her head.
"It's okay honey, I can do everything. You need to rest."
"What time is it anyways? I want to help a little."
"10:35 a.m." Sky replied sitting back up again.
"We've got plenty of time." Kale pulled Sky back down and cuddled with her tightly, so she couldn't get up.
"Fine, only till 11:30 okay? I need a lot of time."
"Okayy." Kale said, as she closed her eyes. Sky did the same, as they both drifted off to sleep still cuddling.
