Sky rubbed her eyes and yawned from her nap. She looked over at the alarm clock. 12:30 p.m.
She yawned again before quickly looking at the time again, now jumping up, waking Kale from her slumber.
"Huh-"
"I only have an hour and thirty-minutes to do this!" Sky said, running out into the living room.
Kale was confused, tired, and even more confused. What does she have to do? Kale thought over and over again in her mind until she figured it out. "Sunnie's Party!"
Kale got up and walked into the living room to find sky getting all the decor out from the bags.
"Need help?" Kale said, leaning against the wall.
"Help would be nice, but I think you should get rest."
"Pff, I can stay up to help you."
"Okay, come over then." Sky patted the floor beside her. Kale sat down and began to pull the decor out of the bags as well, setting them neatly on the table. They both organized everything, figuring out what goes where. Kale grabbed streamers, balloons, table cloths, napkins, and plates; she took them outside, in the backyard and set them down on a nearby table. She then went into the garage and grabbed foldable tables, carrying them into the backyard. She set them up, then placed the table cloths neatly onto the tables. She blew up balloons and taped them to the corners of the tables. On one table she put plates, silverware (or plasticware hehe), and cups. She taped streamers on the backdoor as well.
Once her work was finished she went inside to see how Sky was doing. Sky was on a chair, putting up an 'Happy Birthday!' banner. She soon finished and got down, smiling at her work.
"How did you do?" Sky asked. Kale smiled and walked to her, wrapping her arms around Sky's waist again.
"Easy enough."
Sky looked up at Kale, blushing.
"Great! So, I think this party is going to be great!"
"I think so too." Kale said, deeply in love with this girl. Kale wanted to be with Sky forever, and she hoped Sky did too.
I guess tonight she would soon find out.
