Grover's POV
How could they?  Their hero, their friend, their leader.  Percy did everything for them!  She saved the world thrice!  And when the gods wanted to take her away again, she refused.  So, they throw her in Tartarus!  3 years!  3 years alone in Tartarus!  Betrayed, lonely, dying (if she isn't already dead).  Meanwhile, everyone loved their happy little lives while Percy suffered in misery.  They polluted the air.  Mortals, Gods, Titans, Monsters, and Demigods alike polluted the surface.  The planet is dying due to their selfishness.  No more!  Pan is dead because of them!  Pan is dead because of their desperation to live in luxury.  The wilds have been destroyed and restrained for too long, It was time to rise up!

That was what Grover thought as he paced in his war tent. He stroked his goatee - tuning out the world around him. His hooves clip clopped on the hardened ground. Bug and humidity swarmed around him. He and his army resided in the Amazon Jungle. One of the last places of pure nature on Earth. But that was going to change soon. It was all going to change. Nothing and no one would be able to stop him. Except Percy. She was the only one who knew him. His best friend. But that's why everything was so perfect. Grover knew Percy wouldn't lift a finger to help the gods against him. In fact, she'd probably join him if she wasn't stuck in Tartarus. The truth was, Grover wasn't going to kill anyone. He wasn't going to destroy the lives of billions. Instead, he was going to take back the world for nature. Then and only then would he begin the new task. The task of bringing peace to the mythical and non-mythical world. Percy knew this better than anyone.

Grover smirked. He knew Percy wouldn't get involved. However, with the gods distracted into recruiting her, his convert team snuck into Olympus; stealing all the major gods special weapons. Without them, they were as powerful as any other god. It gave Grover and his army an advantage, and a bargaining chip. Smart play for a satyr. Who knew that one day, unsure Grover would grow to be one of Olympus' biggest threats to ever come upon knocking on their doorstep.
