Chapter 13

That's when I knew I fucked up. I turned around to leave when the door slammed shut. I turned around again and heard someone start to talk.

"Ah hello Lucy. Come to take what's mine? Big mistake."

I looked up and came face to face with.

"Ah nice seeing you again-"

-Back to the story-

"Ah nice seeing you again-- Zeref."

"Ah Lucy Heartfilia. Or should I say Lucy Marvell Chaos. The second in line for the throne. Why have you come here? Come to take me down? But why so early? That's usually not your thing. You usually think before you do things. Why the sudden change?" He asked me laughing. He gave me a smile and stalked towards me.

"Ah so this your guild? No wonder the members are insane. Yet my brother is here. Did you kidnap him? Sounds like you. Always doing things you shouldn't but enjoy doing them because others hate it. You always cause trouble everywhere you go." I say to him. He looks at me and frowns. He stalks up to me angry and grabs ahold of my chin.

He looked me in the eyes and then. He laughs.

'What the hell?'

"Lucy Chaos. So beautiful. So smart. So mischievous. Just my type." He starts mumbling to himself. Then he looks up at me.

He gave me this huge smile. Then says.

"Lucy Marvell Chaos. Be my queen?"

Then I gave him this huge confused look.
But then he starts laughing again.

"Did you really take that seriously? So stupid. I am Zeref!! I am the darkest mage out there. I rule over many! While you rule over the dirt under my feet. Pathetic!! You will die today. You and your fucking siblings. This is where your royal line ends! Your own demises!!" He starts laughing mechanically.

I shuddered. I was so done with his laughing and words. So I casted a spell and he flew back into several walls. I got up and ran. I saw a door on the other side of the wall and took that. I ran down the endless hall. Then made it to this room. There was people in there. Not the people I knew.

Okay I knew a few of them. There sat Lamy and Sellah. Then there he was..

"Jackal!!" I yelled and ran to him. He was surprised and jumped up.

We hugged and cried a little. Then I realised we really had to run.

"We have to leave and right now. Zeref is after us. He is planning on killing us. That way our royal line is cut out. I don't know why he wants it so bad. But we really need to get back home to warn mom and dad." I told him.

I look at him to see him nodding his head. Yet the people around the room stood up. They were ready to attack us. Except a few people. Minerva was there. I was so surpirsed because she went missing after the games. We were searching for her for months now. Then we find out Zeref took her this whole time. She looked ready to fight. Yet it wasn't us she was going to fight. It was them.

She looked different. She changed a lot over these months. She also looked really sad right now. Its the same look Sellah had on her face. Well its still on her face. They just look absolutely broken. It was heartbreaking. The fighting already started as I speaking. Lamy and a couple others are knocked out. I noticed the formal Sabertooth master was here too.

I grabbed Jackals hand and started running. I noticed something really upsetting. It was a fact that I wish I didn't have. It was that Sellah and Minerva was fighting all of them. They were making sure we escaped. I couldn't leave them. So I did something I would never regret.

"Open the gate of the lion. Leo!" I yelled out. A golden light appeared. Then there he was my best friend. He looked at me and smiled. Then looked forward. He smirked then ran tot ake them out. I felt he would need some help.

"Open the gate of the ram. Aries! Open the gate of crab. Cancer!" They both came out and went straight to the battle. One by one people were being knocked out.

I knew we were running out of time. So I ran and grabbed Sellah and Minerve. Jackal ran with us and we ran straight out the door. On our way out we met up with the Sabers. Then we ran more and more until we were at the entrance.

'We are free? Why is this way too easy?'

I looked around. Everyone was here. I started counting us just in case.

Happy, Carla, Midnight, Cobra, Angel, Laxus, Wendy, Flare, Jackal, Sellah, Minerva, Sting, Lector, Rogue, Froshe.

No this isn't right.

"Where are they?" I ask them. They looked away from me.

"Where are they Erik. Where the hell is Sawyer and Richard!!" I scream at him.

This wasn't easy. This wasn't a win for us. Not this day.
Not the next day. Not ever. We thought we beat this. We thought it was easy.
We thought we won.
We did not.

"Lucy." Laxus starts.

"They're gone." Cobra no Erik finished.

'This can't be happening. This has to be some kind of sick joke. We literally saw them this morning. We were eating breakfast and laughing together. They were just about to have their freedom back!!'

"That fucking bastard. He will pay!" I yelled.

"Tch. We are leaving. Wendy did you get their bodies back?" I asked her.

"Yea I did." She answered quietly.

I sighed. I walked forward to the edge of the platform. One by one we were sent down. We got out of the guild. But a piece of us were missing. We gota piece back just for another piece to be taken away. Tears were about to fall from my eyes. I wiped them away before they could fall. I chocked back a sob.

I turned around to meet the faces of my team. They all had sorrowful faces everyone but Sellah, Minerva and Jackal. Simply because they never met Sawyer and Richard. I put the thought behind me. I finally spoke up.

"We lost two important people. I don't know if this was a win or a loss. All I know is that Zeref is going to pay for this. We are heading back to Sabertooth first. We will gather up the guild members. We will then go back to the dragon realm. From then we will have Sawyer and Richard's funeral. They deserve that much from us. After all they have done they deserve all the love. We will start training in a week afterwards. During that week we wil mourn their deaths. They deserve it after all they done for us." I tell them.

They all knodded their heads. We then headed to the town where our Inn was.

'This was a long day. I feel like a piece of me was just ripped out. If feels just like when mom and dad left us on earth. When the Hearfillia's took me away from my siblings. A piece of me will be gone forever this time. I don't know when or if this piece will come back.'

We made it to the Inn. I took my shower first. Then I layed down on the bed. I tuened to my side and just stared at the wall. Cobra was staring at the ceiling. While Midnight sat on the floor staring at the wall. We all were very upset. I mean we just lost some great friends. There was this deadly silence in the room. We all wanted to comfort each other. We just didn't know how.

So we kept quiet.
