Harry's POV
My harden gaze never left Jasmines' face as I sat across from her and her parents. It took everything in my body to not jump across the table and deal with her myself. However, my parents made me promise to be on my best behavior. That didn't means I could help the blood that was boiling in my veins as I sat across from Jasmine staring at her cold face. I watched as Jasmine and her mother shed fake tears down their cheeks, mimicking the remorse they had for Y/n. I gritted my teeth together in order to stop me from saying anything that I would regret later. I squirmed in my seat for a second, before I cleared my throat and opened my mouth.
"So let's get started, we are here to discuss the punishment for duchess Jasmine Woods. The charges are assault and assault against a high official. Possibly attempt of murder", my father read off what he felt was appropriate.
"Please!!! We throw ourselves on the mercy of the throne. Please King Robin don't do this, we beg you Queen Anne", Jasmine's mom faked sobbed.
"I'm sorry Amelia, but can't let this go. Your daughter committed a serious crime against Y/n. We have a statement from Y/n saying Jasmine threatened to take her life while she was attacking Y/n. There's nothing we can do, this is out of our hands. We have to treat this like every other crime", my mum explained kindly.
"Royalty? Pshh, what royalty? Y/n is not your fiancé, she is your betrothed but she isn't your official fiancé or soon to be queen", Jasmine's father Oliver argued.
"She might not have officially become Harry's fiancé or future queen, but do not forget that she is currently the princess of Torquay. So yes Oliver, we are keeping the charge of assault against a member of a royalty", my father Robin argued.
"So now that we have that established, we will now be taking our daughter home until trial begins", Jasmine's mother Amelia brushes off the charges and the severity of the situation.
"Sorry Amelia and Oliver, Jasmine has to stay here in the dungeon until parliament takes your case and gives you a date for trial", my mum said.
"Excuse me!! My daughter is not staying in the dungeon like some animal until parliament decided to take her case and move her", Amelia argued.
"Sorry Amelia, it's the law", my father stood up from the table.
My mother and I followed my father, standing up from the table as well. We followed him walking out of the room and shutting the door behind us.
"Well that went well", my mother laughed as we all stood in the hallway.
"It doesn't sound like they handled it to well", I shook my head.
"I didn't expect them to, people like that Harry don't want to be held accountable for their actions. I'm glad we stuck together this time", my mother rolled her eyes.
"Well I'm going to go check on Y/n. I wonder if she's up for the morning", I kissed my mother and father on the cheek and head upstairs towards Y/n's room.
