The morning air was cold and most definitely, depressing. The sky was almost as grey as smoke, the clouds blocking the feeble sunlight. The autumn wind was picking up the last of the remaining leaves, taking them on a trip through the beautiful fields and into the dull city.
It looked like even mother nature was depressed like a certain someone.
The door to the dorm room opened with a 'bang!', startling the occupants inside. Even Lucy lifted her head a little to have a look at what the commotion was about.
"Holy m-could you've been any louder?"
Levy managed a small pout despite her heavy breathing, setting the keys down on her work desk.
"Go out there and you'll know."
Cana was about to retort when Juvia stopped her, trying to prevent an unnecessary argument from happening. Everyone knew how the cold weather affected these two and in all honesty, Juvia wasn't ready to handle another one of these depressed souls.
"Let it go you two. We already have one on the bed there." she sighed, glancing back at a bundled up Lucy. "We really don't need you two too."
Levy's expression softened and she started removing various layers of clothing which made her look like a walking woolen ball.
"It's so cold out." she complained, removing her gloves now. "But I got everything!"
"Awesome!" Cana cheered grabbing the brown paper bag from the table. "Juvia! Levy! Heads up!"
Both the bluenettes caught their warm, baked delicacies just in time, while Cana had already started on her own.
"Damn Levy." Cana said with her mouth full. "You're perfect for this job. You always get the fresh ones. How in the world do you manage that?"
"Yeah." Juvia laughed, eating her own. "It's hard to always get the fresh ones."
"Oh it's nothing." Levy mumbled, waving her hand dismissively. "The guy who's on shift is really nice. It's all him."
"Is that a blush I see Levy McGarden?" Cana teased, narrowing her eyes.
"Wha-? No! Psssh. You know I just came back from outside! It's just that."
"What's his name?"
"Huh? Gajeel I think."
"Wait, Gajeel?" Juvia suddenly sat up straight, eyes wide. "As in Gajeel Red-"
"Ughh. No boys!" Lucy groaned from the bed, successfully shutting the three girls up. "My head hurts!"
"Awe Lu." Levy sighed, sympathy evident on her face. "Here! I got you all the goodies!"
The blonde gingerly raised her head to find her petite friend approaching her with hands full of food.
Delicious food.
"I got you ice creams, chips, hot cocoa with mini marshmallows in it." she smiled. "Now get out of bed and stop sulking."
"Levy!" she whined, slumping back down. "Why am I such a loser?! I can't even say sorry to him!"
