Fired.
Your second week of work, and they had fired you. Miraculous.
(Pun Intended)
You walked out of the large office building, carrying two large cardboard boxes in either hand, your knuckles white from both anger and the weight of the boxes.
Suddenly, the ground shook wildly.
"What the... We don't get earthquakes in Paris..."
A distance in front of you, you saw part of the street being pushed up by whatever was digging underneath it, and from the looks of it, it was giant.
You felt your legs buckle, and you were rooted to the spot. Then they appeared, Ladybug and Cat Noir, along with Rena Rouge.
Just as whatever was under the street was about to surface, and crush you in the process, you felt an arm wrap itself around you, and the next second, you were being whisked into the air.
The next second however, you weren't rising, but falling.
Falling quicker, and quicker,
You saw Cat Noir teaching out to try and save you, his bright green eyes wide with fear.
"Hold on! I've got you!" He yelled at you, his teeth clenched with effort.
You saw his hand grow closer, and closer. You saw his clawed fingers graze against the fabric of your shirt a few times.
Then Darkness.
