Chapter Eleven- "You better be in here Hunter."
I groaned, the light that was streaming in hit me directly in the eye. I quickly closed them again and felt around for signs for where I could be. I knew I wasn't at the caravan park, we bought a 9 man tent, for space, a few days ago and it never gets this bright in there. My fingers came to a sudden stop as I felt naked skin against the palm of my right hand.
"What the frick." I whispered before taking the chance and once again opening my eyes. Feeling determined, I kept fluttering my eyes open and closed until I adjusted to the lighting. The sight at hand frightened me more than it did having my hand kissed by 1/2 of dumb and dumber. I poked the body gently, not wanting to startle the poor guy.
"Who the heck are you?" A large groan came from the male, letting me know that he wasn't dead. Thank god.
"Ditto." Was all I could say, in shock after taking in his full appearance. He was completely naked. I went to say something else but saw him glancing nervously at my chest. It was only then that I realized that I too, was naked, and that the blanket failed to cover the top half of my body. In record speed, the thin sheet was being held firmly over my boobs.
"Sorry." He whispered, feeling guilty after looking. "I'm not usually like this." He mumbled, glancing down.
"Where are we?" I asked, ignoring his apology after having no reply for it.
"Well I though we were at my cousin, Zack's party but a bunch of people were saying that it was a birthday party for some guy. His name was Jack Ryder or something?" Hunter. Wait, so we did end up doing as I suggested? How could I have forgotten...
"Oh." I awkwardly scratched the back of my neck before attempting to find out as much infomation as possible. "I'm Rose Dickinson." I put out the hand that wasn't hiding my chest for a handshake whilst using my fake name.
"Tyler Ross." He shook it shyly. "I'm really sorry about last night though. I've never had much experience drinking, I mean, I am a bit of a loser b-" I cut him off, my eyes opened wide.
"But you're hot." I was speechless. How could someone that fit and attractive possibly be a 'loser'?
"I made a few mistakes when I was younger and not many people still liked me after it so I changed my social time into study time." He explained, chuckling, and I gave him an understanding nod. Suddenly panic rises inside of me as I remember a crusial point I've missed.
"So, do you know where this Jack guy is?"
"Actually, I'm pretty sure he's in the next room over." He gave me a weird look before I told him to turn around so I could put on my clothes.
"Thanks." I huffed from the struggle of getting my tight black dress back on. I kissed him on the cheek which startled him. I continued before he could ask. "For being such a gentleman this morning, last time the guy told me to fuck off and pulled me through his apartment into the hallway." I chuckled at the memory. That guy was such an ass.
"That's really rude." Tyler stated with furrowed eyebrows.
"I know right?" I started giggling uncontrollably at how mean that guy was. I'm so glad I don't get hangovers. It's just luck though, I suppose. It also seems by the looks of it, that Tyler is the same.
"Can I at least get your number?" I saw hope lit up in his eyes as I turned back around to face him, stopping my departure to the door. I gave him a sympathetic smile.
"I don't have a phone at the moment but if you'd like you could give me yours and I'll text you when I get one?" He hesitated, suddenly unsure to whether or not I would actually end up texting him. But trust me, I would, and I will.
'Okay." He agreed and ruffled through some draws next to him to find a paper and pen.
"I'll text you, trust me." I grinned after he handed me the piece of paper. I walked out the door and sent him a wave, which he returned, before closing it again. "You better be in here Hunter." I whispered to myself. As I walked to the left, the only side that had a door next to it, I heard growing voices.
"FOR THE LAST TIME! HAVE YOU SEEN A BRUNETTE WHO'S ABOUT 5"7 AND WAS NEXT TO ME MOST OF THE NIGHT?" I opened the door and rolled my eyes at the sight.
"I swear to god H-" I started before stopping myself in realization. "Jack. I swear to god Jack. If you're yelling at this poor girl looking for me i'll feed you your own dick." He quickly span around and ran to cover me in a hug. I looked over his shoulder to see the blonde girl he was previously screaming at, sigh in relief. I sent her a warm grin over Hunter's shoulder and despite her fake bitchy look, she fully returned the gesture.
"Thank god, I didn't think my hangover could handle anymore yelling."
"Jack, you were the one yelling, your headache is your problem." He rolled his eyes at me and dragged me out of the room before I could say goodbye to the girl sitting in the corner of the room, no longer scared. Hunter looked around after arriving back out into the hallway and glanced around. Suddenly he started kissing my neck and I nearly moaned, though the surprise of the action showing in my wide eyes.
"Let's get out of here so we can talk." Hunter whispered into my ear quietly before I realized we were being watched by a scary looking man holding a bottle of Jack's down the hall.
"Okay." I agreed, grabbing his hand and dragging him down to the first floor of the house it turns out we were in. I made sure I was in front of him so I could hide the blush that was creeping up my neck after it must of realized that Hunter had touched it with his soft lips. Goddamn that boy, I say.
"We have a lot to talk about." Hunter said hesitantly as we jumped into his motorbike, heading for the caravan park our tent was currently in. I gulped nervously.
