Chapter Nine- "You sound like my mother."
Halloweeen Special
"Hunter, I have an amazing idea!" I exclaimed, a random thought popping into my head as the wind blew fiecly through my hair.We are currantly on Hunter's old motorbike, which we've been fixing up for the past week at his uncle's. We only left an hour ago and we are currantly riding through the mountains. I had learnt in my past week that Hunter had stayed with them for a while a few years back when he was on his peak of rebellion. It was pretty relaxing. I got to know the boys quite well and we promised to drop in again if we ever were to be back to this area in hiding. Also while we were there, I found out that Johno was quite good with sissors when he styled Hunter's mildly long hair to a short cut. And let me tell you, if he didn't look hot before, he most definitely did now. This was all so exciting, I finially felt free. We had a motorbike for transport, heaps of cash and tons of food. And let's not forgot the fake ID's Bazza made us. For a bogan he's a bloody computer wizz I tell you. I also found out that they were Hunter's mum's brothers. She grew up hating their lifestyle and decided to make something of herself and became a Lawyer and married a Doctor. Which explains why Hunter is loaded.
"What?" Hunter yelled back, keeping his eyes infront of him. I hugged onto him tighter, the feel of his incredibly ripped abdoman made me want to cry from sexual fustration, as we went down one last hill at an unbelievably scary speed and onto a small dirt road. He pulled up onto the side of it before I answered.
"Halloweens tonight!" I heard him groan and I rolled my eyes at him.
"But that's an American tradition." I pouted at his response, I've always wanted to dress up.
"So?" My mum had never let me go trick or treating, for the same reason Hunter was arguing. Suddenly, my walls felt like they were caving in on me again.
"We're Australian." He stated, starting the bike again and tearing off the road. I huffed at him, people in Australia still celebrated it, it just wasn't as serious.
"You sound like my mother." I grumbled loud enough for him to hear. I felt him tense and I momentarily almost drooled as his six pack bluged from his stomach. Hot.
"Oh." It was silent for a while after that. All I could think about was wanting to go trick or treating for once in my life. "I'm sorry." Hunter said after what was proably an hour as we finally left the long dusty road and headed into a normal one.
"Okay." I whispered before realising that he couldn't hear me over the sounds of the roaring engine underneth us. I decided to not say it again though, I really wanted to go and it wasn't okay.
I know what you're thinking. Why doesn't go by herself? To be honest, I originally planned to go alone without having a choice but now that I'm travelling with someone, I think it'd be better to go together. I know, it's petty, but that's me.
"Fine, we'll go." Hunter finally agreed randomly 3 hours later as we arrived at a holiday park.
"Really?" I cheered, hoping of the bike and taking of my helmet, which by the way, I painted red with flames.
"Might as well, plus it'll stop you sooking tonight." I pouted but after a 'i can change my mind' look from Hunter, I chirped up and made my way over to the reception to check us in. I turned around and saw Hunter standing by his bike protectively as our bags were only sitting on the back and had everything we owned in them. I spun back around and entered the building.
