6: Plastic Dreams

Lucas's pov...
I was walking down the halls of my school and I noticed a bunch of girls getting asked out for the homecoming dance. I didn't realize that it was already gonna be this Friday. One of my friends Payton came towards me.

Payton: "Yo dude! Clarissa said yes to my hoco proposal."

Me: "Really?"

Payton: "Yeah bro!" He couldn't stop smiling.

Payton: "Who are you gonna ask to homecoming?"

Me: "I don't know, I'm probably not gonna take anyone."

Payton: "I thought you were gonna ask Lisa."

Me: "Why?"

Payton: "I don't know. I thought you like her."

Me: "I don't."

Payton: "Stop lying. I've noticed the way you get when she literally just walks past you."

Me: "You're dumb."

Payton: "Stop denying it." I saw Lisa at her locker. I didn't look away.

Payton: "Dude! Are you even listeni..." he paused and noticed me looking at her.

Payton: "Lucas!!!" He yelled.

Me: "What!"

Payton: "Ask her to homecoming, Ask her before anyone else does. You'll regret it."

Me: "I'll think about it." He gave me a disappointed look.

Me: "Alright fine! I'll try."

Payton: "You better!" I just nodded. How the fuck am I gonna be able to tell her?!?

Lisa's pov...
We already headed to class and I went to sit in the back. I then saw Lucas come into the class and sat in the back next to me. Alessio sat with gio in front of us.

Teacher: "Good morning kids. The next few weeks, we will be learning about the periodic table."

Everyone: "Awe man!" Everyone began to groan.

Teacher: "Can anyone tell me what Fe stands for?" No one raised their hands but Alessio.

Teacher: "Yes Alessio?"

Alessio: "It stands for Iron."

Teacher: "Very good Zotto. Can anyone tell me what K, stands for?" Again, no one raised their hand but Alessio.

Teacher: "Yes?"

Alessio: "Potassium."

Teacher: "Very well. Well, does anyone know what Au stands for other than Alessio?"

Alessio: "Gold."

Teacher: "Alright...well I'm going to give you all a sheet of paper with the periodic table on it. And I want all of you to learn at least 10 of these elements by tomorrow." She said walking by each table giving everyone a sheet.

Teacher: "Alright. We will begin a project based on the Periodic table. All of you will work with your partners on making a model of an element in the molecular form."

Teacher: "And your partners will be your elbow partners."

Danielle: "Mrs. Teacher lady can I work with Gabby?"

Teacher: "No!"

Danielle: "Ugh!" She rolled her eyes.

Lucas: "Hey."

Me: "Yeah?"

Lucas: "Wanna start on it today after school?"

Me: "Sure, at my house?"
