Lizzie didn't think it was anything serious. She'd been told by her doctor and just about every pregnant woman, that cramping and just hurting was normal. So she'd never thought she needed to mention it.
"You sure you're ok?" Chris had asked for about the hundredth time that day.
"Yeah, I'm fine." She'd told him, waving him off as they walked down the crowded New York street. But the pain and tightening in her stomach was only getting worse.
And then she'd gripped onto Chris's arm at a gush down her leg, "Chris." She'd sais through gritted teeth, "My water just broke."
"It's too early."
"I know. But my water just broke."
