"Chris, just go. I'll be fine."

"But I feel bad because it's a party and you can't drink."

Lizzie smiled as Chris pouted, "I will be fine, go drink with your buddies."

"I will keep her company, Chrissy." Scarlett told him, wrapping her arm around Lizzie, "Go do all the drinking you want."

"You don't have to babysit me, Scar."

Scarlett smiled, "I know, Liz. But I understand your pain so I'm gonna be your non-drinking buddy."

Chris was very drunk to say the least as he stumbled over to where Lizzie and Scarlett sat.

"Chris, we need to get you home."

"No, I can't leave without my girlfriend." His words were slurred and it took everything in Lizzie to keep herself together unlike Scarlett who was cracking up next to her.

"Didn't realize we were there yet." Lizzie muttered before quickly looking back up at the man, "I'm Lizzie."

Chris just smiled, "That's her name."

"Chris, I'm your girlfriend. I'm right here. I'll take you home."

"No, I have to find my girlfriend. She'll be mad if I leave with someone else."

"Why don't I go find her and you stay here with Scarlett?" Chris nodded as she sat him down next to Scarlett.

Lizzie returned a few moments later, Chris's face lighting up as he saw her. He stumbled to his feet, hugging her tightly.

"I missed you." He muttered.

"Let's get you home, ok?"
