Lennarcias POV:

The room is dark and Lennaria is asleep. Her breaths calm and measured. Her face is peaceful with the bliss of dreams and unknowing of what's to come.

A figure in black takes a few careful steps into her room, watching her carefully to make sure she doesn't wake up. He takes another step and a floor creaks, causing her to move and he freezes.

She doesn't wake up.

He moves closer to her and stands right next to her bed. There's a glint of silver as he holds a knife above her chest. He waits a couple breaths then plunges the knife deep and she wakes up with a start. Her eyes wide and she looks at the person, unknowing of who it is and her eyes have tears in them from the pain.

The person shoves it deeper and she lets out a strangled gasp, blood dripping out of her mouth. The sheets and the covers are steadily getting more drenched in the metallic red liquid and the tears in her eyes spill over, going down her cheeks. She tries to grab the knife but she's too weak from blood loss. The man just watches with a smile as the light slowly leaves her eyes and when she stops struggling he lets go of the knife, leaving it in her chest and takes out a pocket watch to check the time.

Good.

He's ahead of schedule. He takes out a violet lilac and places it on her, placing her hands on top of it, holding it in place. He smiles again at his work. No one ever loved his art and he couldn't understand why.

It's so beautiful.

Without another look at the girl he leaves.
