You throw the box of cereal across the room hitting your brother in the face as cereal goes everywhere he's been ignoring you since the shouting match the two of you ended up getting into. You both typically gave up on ignore each other the second you needed something but he still wasn't budging. you've resorted to bumping into him and throwing things in his direction but still silence. You sorrowfully pick up the scattered cereal and let out a long sigh as he leaves to go sit in the living room. he's in his gold perfect uniform the one you were supposed to be wearing proudly which breaks your heart as you realize he's not gonna budge and you accept defeat and just sling your bag over your shoulder, straightening out your skirt the violet color went nice with your complexion as you waved over to your brother in one final attempt before walking out the door and making your way to the school. you walk slowly kicking your feet as you walk the leaves crunch under your feet, you have headphones in as you enter the school looking at your schedule and looking around the numbers randomly go from one hundred and seven skipping to five hundred and thirty-two.
"Hey!" you interrupt a group of boys who shrug you off and you scoff walking up to a guy and he just makes an excuse that he has to be somewhere and scurries off. it felt like everyone was avoiding you not wanting to be around you or even help you navigate the halls.
"Hey..." you tap someone's shoulder quietly as they turn and look down at you, he smiles softly.
"Do you need help?" the boy asks he's the only person who has given you even the slightest time of day, you probably looked like you were about to cry your emotions on high between your brother and feeling invisible.
"Yes..." you whisper quietly as you hand him your schedule. He looks it over a smile.
"You're a floor up, here I'll help," he leads you to a stairwell and stands beside you as you both walk.
"The school can be very confusing but you'll get used to it, trust me when I first got here I ended up missing every period and falling down the stairs... three times." you smile for the first time in what feels like forever eventually you stop in front of a door and your about to go in as he starts to walk away you pause.
"Wait!" you yell towards him and he turns around confused in your direction.
"I never got your name!" You shout to him and he lets out a small chuckle.
"Lee Juyeon!" he says loud enough for you to hear and you nod letting him go and entering the class. All heads turn in your direction as the teacher waves you up to the front.
"I assume you got lost, take a seat by Changmin," the teacher just assumes you know who that is and take a look around the room where you see someone lift his head and wave over at you with a large smile on his face. The thing that popped out most to you was his neck it was unusually long.
You walk over to the empty desk and slide off your bag taking a seat.
"Hey you're our new princess!" He smiles and semi reminds you of a puppy being called a princess was something different and felt you with a sense of guilt more than pride.
"Yeah..." you answer shyly before taking out a book from your bag to work with the class you were majorly behind already and by the end of just that class you had three different assignments due in two days which made you panic slightly wondering if you had enough time.
By the time it was time for lunch you got lost once again and instead of finding the lunch room you found yourself in the library between some bookshelves sobbing silently. You felt alone, you deserved it for taking what should have been your brothers. You searched through your phone for your brother's contact before clicking it but it went to voicemail. You'd never felt so horrible before. You hated being selfish all those things Jimin said were correct, it wasn't just a rage in the moment thing it was something that had been building over time and it was a matter of time before he snapped-
"Are you okay?" Your thoughts are interrupted as you turn away from the voice wiping the tears from your face quickly as you can.
"Yeah." Your voice is weak no strength and shaky. You feel someone sit down next to you wrapping you in a hug bringing you close to them. It's nice. You break down crying into them.
"I'm a horrible person. I shouldn't be here," you sob and they listen to you holding you, you still have no idea who it is but you don't care. You liked being held. Comforted.
"Everyone hates me, my brother, mother, the people at this school, especially that one guy I first met here," you hear a soft chuckle from the guy and you finally look up to meet his eyes his nice brown ones and you realize it's Kevin. You immediately push him away anxiously and wipe your tears away but your eyes are still puffy and red.
"Forget this," you tell him coldly standing up and straightening out your skirt before walking away to get lost again. You hated people seeing you at your weakest especially people who hate you, Kevin seemed to care but you didn't know him. It was just a small moment of weakness, unnecessary. It'd be better tomorrow, you'd be used to being ignored by almost everyone and shoved to the side by your brother, or maybe it would just push you to the breaking point...
