"Minhee!" I yelled into the hallway. "I'm going out, go to bed on time!" He was probably just playing video-games, like usual.
I sighed at the lack of his reply, and then slipped on a jacket before heading out.

The night was chilly, and the breeze hit my face in a refreshing way. The silver moon was full, and illuminating the path ahead of me.
   It was almost peaceful.
Within ten minutes, I made it to the chicken shop and greeted the guy behind the register. "What would you like—"

Splat!

I widened my eyes as nausea clouded my senses; the guy was shot and killed. I swivelled around and faced a short man in all black, with a gun poised in his fingertips.

"Oops," he jokingly mumbled under his breath, before aiming at me. I froze, rooted in my position. The littered, grease-layered floor had turned into a stone jail that restrained my legs.

What am I gonna do?

Without thinking twice, I ducked down to the side and bolted out of the door, begging for my legs to go faster. What if he has accomplices?

My heart drummed in my chest, but I had to keep going. They're going to kill me. I felt the bile rise up my throat but swallowed it down. Now wasn't the time to hurl. I'm going to die.
