"Hey guy- woah!" I jumped, watching Felix, Minho, Hyunjin and Jeongin rush inside with a body connected at their arms. "What happened?" In the midst of the chaos swirling around me, Seungmin sighed and paused to help me catch up.

"Stupid Zhong Chenle, that's what."

I raised my brow while tilting my head...and then it clicked. 'We're gonna go on patrol around En-city, alright? If anything were to happen then it's probably the Dreamies around the perimeter,' Chan told me as he geared up for the mission. 'You and Jisung will watch over the base. I trust you to take care of it, Changbin, okay?'

'Of course.' Chan! Chan must've been injured by Chenle! I quickly dashed towards the medic bay where Seungmin had wiped all his surfaces clean and currently addressing Chan's wounds.
   I could only watch from the glass on the outside - alongside Minho and Felix - as it was protocol for the doctor and patient to be alone during patch-up.

"Will he be okay?" I asked them.

Felix shrugged while Minho's lips fumbled for an answer. "It's not that serious of a wound, but it was pretty nasty nonetheless. He'll have to take some time to recover...but who knows how long?"

"But we don't have that long," I replied.

Minho just gave me a blank stare, before resuming his focus to a still unconscious, but slightly cleaner looking Chan. I watched Seungmin's fingers work like magic as they wiped the blood, removed the bullet and stitch the wound.
Not bearing to watch any longer, I turned away and walked towards the lounge.

"...We barely escaped with our lives!" I heard Hyunjin recounting to an endorsed Jisung at the bar, while Jeongin scornfully added in his own comments.

"Please, stop being so dramatic. They were outnumbered; they wouldn't have tried anything daring," Jeongin retorted. I accidentally stepped on a discarded comic book which made all their eyes snap up to me. "Oh, hey Changbin hyung..."

"Hi guys," I returned sheepishly, and joined Jisung and Hyunjin at the bar. "Why did Chenle shoot at you guys?"

Hyunjin sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Beats me. The kid's off his rocker. Besides, I was only told we were on a mission to the Fang Forest."

"Fang Forest?" Jaemin asked skeptically. "Fang Forest? What the heck is that?"

"You know..." Jisung returned bashfully. "Fang Forest?"

"No, we don't know," Haechan deadpanned. "So tell us what it is."

Jisung sighed exasperatedly and then turned to me with pleading eyes. "Help me here Chenle, tell them what Fang Forest is."

"Yeah, I can't help you with that one," I shrugged, raising my hands in defence. "I don't even know what language you're speaking right now."

Jisung facepalmed and then groaned exaggeratedly. "The Fang Forest is a fictitious realm native to the Fire Furries, Scavenger and Clumsy Daises."
