Non-Believer is Believing?

I made a kinda 'oof' like sound when I hit the object tha wasn't the ground. I opened my eyes, still keeping my arms wrapped around my head, I saw that I land on a big black fury thing...... I froze, 'Oh no, this is the wolf, Xelophone? Wait... Xavier! Oh shit!' I looked through my arms to see that the wolf was looking at me, and i was kind on top of its side. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to fall on you!" I jump a little, startled that my fat ass just landed on him. He growled when I tried to move away, so I froze. I felt something soft wrap around my torso, I looked down to see that it was his tail. I look back at him, but I look into his eyes this time. They're a golden brown, with green speckles. I feel a little lighter, and I feel like theres a warm fuzzy feeling and these kinda.... sparks. My eyes widen in surprise, 'I'm feeling sparks..... oh no....' That when I realize a tingly feeling across my torso and on my back, everywhere that he's touching right now....... He growls and slowly I hear bones breaking and skin tearing again, and next thing you know, I have a naked guy holding my body close to his, while hes growling. "Mine." He growls, wrapping his arms tighter around my body, nuzzling his face into my neck. My breathing started being really fast and I started shaking, he must've noticed cause the next thing I know hes kinda purring? Its calming me down though, I slowly relax into him. "Holy shit! You're mated to my best friend!" Lan yelled, jumping up and down. Xavier growls again and looks at Lan, "Put your fucking clothes on." He demanded, thats when Lan and I both notice that hes naked. "Ew, did I seriously have to see that again?" I say, covering my eyes with my hands and turning backwards, which was Xavier chest..... He is fit! I can literally feel his 8 pack against my body. That when I notice he's naked as well, I gasp and push him away, earning a growl and him tightening his grip. "Let me go, you're fucking naked and I don't know you!" I demand, trying to push him off. Thats when he smirks, and looks me up and down. "You could be naked too and we could get to know each other that way.." He states and winks. "You gross fucker.." I mumble and push him again, finally managing to get out of is grip. "Lan go get dressed so you can tak me home, please." Lan nods and runs off and comes back a couple minutes later fully clothed. "Larissa you just found your mate, why do you want to leave?" Lan asked, walking up to me.  "How many times do I have to tell you, Lan, I don't believe in that shit." I said, walking passed him towards the door. "Oh come on, you can't say that you didn't feel anything when Xavier was holding you, or when you looked into his eyes!" He yells, grabbing my arm and pulling me back. "You just don't get it do you, Lan? Mates are lies adults tell their children so their children will believe in love! Its not real, and just because I felt something when Xavier touched me doesn't mean that I believe in mates now! So just leave it alone, ok?!" I yelled, pulling my hand out of his grip. Thats when I notice 2 things; One, everyone is staring at us and two, Xavier is dressed and standing next to Lan looking pissed off. "Larissa just stay a listen, if you maybe stay we can try and figure this out." Lan says, reaching his hand towards me. Xavier growls and storms in front of me, "Are you trying to reject me?" He asks, pissed off. "The fuck you mean 'reject'?!  I don't fucking know you!" I replied, getting pissed off that hes pissed off at me. I turned around, but then i felt someone grab my arm and turn my back around. My instincts acted up and I slapped who ever grabbed me....it was Xavier. There was an obvious red hand print on his face and his face was turn from me hitting him, "Oh shit, I'm so sorry. That was a natural reaction." I apologize. His nostrils are flaring and I can feel the anger radiating off of him. I'm frozen in fear on what to do, do I run or do I do something to help the pain on his face? I go for the latter, I put my hand against my other to feel if its cold, yep its cold. I then put my hand on Xaviers cheek, kinda like if I was gonna kiss him. He closes his eyes and turns his head, nuzzling his face into my hand. I don't know what I'm doing cause the next thing I know I'm walking closer to him and putting my face against his chest, hearing his heart beat. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to slap you. I'm sorry." I keep repeating over and over, he starts purring, wrapping his arms around me. "You two are perfect for each other, you're both bipolar assholes.." Lan mutters, I laugh while  Xavier growls. "Hey! Even she laughed at that!" Lan pointed out, trying not to get murdered by Xavier. I laugh even more, then my phone starts ringing. "Oooo I'm loved!" I say, enthusiactically. I pull my phone out to see its Julian, "Where are you? I've been waiting here for 15 minutes!" Julian says, sounding a little angry.. "Oh shit, I'm so sorry! I ended up at the Mating Ball! I'll be there soon!" I rush out, pulling out of Xaviers grip, I rush to the door, with Xavier and Lan following behind.. "You went to the Mating Ball without me?! You were suppose to go with me for your first time!" He starts whinning, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I gotta go. I love you, bye!" I hang up the phone, I'm about to get in Lans car when Xavier growls again. "What?" I ask him, a little annoyed. "You just said you loved a guy." He was seething by now, "Whaaaaa-ohhhhhhhhh, hes gay!" I inform him, laughing. His eyes widen a tiny bit and then he pulls me into his arms again, "Mine." He mumbles yet again. "Ok, but I gotta go." I tell him, "I don't want you to go." He says simply. "You can come too." I say, he nods and gets into the car. Pulling me into his lap, I push myself up with my feet so I don't have my full body weight on him. He growls, "Why are you so stiff?" "Because." He then pulls me fully against him, making me have to put all my body weight on him. He wraps his arms around my body, pulling me really close, "Mine." He mumbles, putting his face against my neck once again. "Is that the only thing in your vocabulary?" I ask him, sighing. "No, I just want you to know who you belong to." He informed me, "I belong to no one, I'm gonna die alone so therefore I'm not owned." I stated proudly, "No. you're mine now." He states. I sigh again, "Whatever, Lan, can you go to the high school?" "Yeah, sure thing. Non-believer." We just laugh. We pull up to see Julian sitting on a bench playing on his phone, I roll down the window, "Get in loser, we're not shopping." I demand him, thinking of Mean Girls. He laughs and gets in the back, "So Juli, how clingy was Frank when you guys found out you were mates?" I ask him turning around in Xaviers lap, "Clingy, but not as much as Alpha Xavier Rivera is right now." He says, chuckling. "You're an alpha?!" I yell, looking at Xavier in shock. "Yeah, so you're my Luna." He smirks at my reaction, "Bullshit! I can't be a Luna, I can barely be a pedastrain! I'm not werewolf for fucks sake!" I yell, he just looks at me, "You can still be part of the pack and carry my pups." He said, normally. "Don't say anything about pups/babies with Larissa. She can't talk about that stuff." Julian tells Xavier. Xavier looks at him confused, "And why the fuck can't she?" He asks, "Because no." I muttered, slowly huddling into his chest so he knows that I don't wanna talk anymore. He just holds me, "I'm Lan, and thats, as you already know, Xavier, your friends mate." Lan said, starting a conversation with Julian. I just kept my eyes closed, trying to go to sleep and forget any of this happened. Soon enough we go to Julians, "Alright, well I'll see you later Larissa, I love you." He said, as hes about to get out of the car. "I love you too." I whisper, so its barely audible, but I know he heard me. He gets out and closes the door, "So where are we taking you, Miss Larissa?" Lan says, trying to lighten the mood. "To the skatepark." I mumble, I hear him sigh. We drive for a  bit then we pull up to the skatepark and he shuts off the car. "So I'm just gonna run home, Xavier take this home when ever." Lan says, awkwardly. "Have a good night you two." He gets out of the car. Xavier and I sit in silence for a little while, "So...how old are you?" Xavier asks, "14." I mumble, "Why weren't you in school today?" Hes starting to sound like a parent figure... "Becasue I already finished school." I mumble in reply. "Oh." Is all he responds with.... "How old are you?" I ask him, curiousty clouding my mind. "23." He states, cautiously. I just nod in reply. "Please just smile, I don't like it when you're down. Its bringing me down, I just wanna see you smile and hear that wonderful laugh you have." He pleads, I look up at him. "I'm sorry, I've just never believed in mates so this all is weird to me..." I told him, "Oh, thats ok. I can help you with it. And I will not force you to do anything you don't want to, unless you won't let me hold you, then I will force you to let me hold you cause I like holding you, it feels wonderful." He says, rambliing a bit. I giggle a little at him, he stops rambling and stares at me. Slowly a smile stretches across his face, "You have a wonderful smile.." I mumble, looking at his smile then back to his eyes. "So do you..." He replies. I smile at him, "I gotta get going, my grandfather will start worrying if I'm not home soon." I told him, feeling a little sad that he has to go. I slowly watch as his happy face morphs into one of sadness and his grip lossens on me. "Ok, you're going to make me cry. You can just come spend the night with me." I say, shaking my head, trying to get rid of the tears that were coming to my eyes. He smiles again, like a little kid on Christmas. We get out of the car and walk across the street to Papas store. The bell rings announcing my entry once again, "Papa, I'm home! And I have someone with me!" I call out, walking behind the counter. Xavier has his arm around my waist the entire time. "Welcome back, grandchild. It seems you have found your mate, yes?" He says, smiling. "Um, yeah, this is-" He interrupts me, "Alpha Xavier Riverea of the River Pack. I know, grandchild." I laugh awkwardly, "Ok, so we're gonna go to bed. I'll see you in the morning, I love you Papa." I say, hugging him as he kisses my forehead. "And I you, sweet dreams, grandchild." He replies, walking back to where ever he was before. I bring Xavier to 'my' room, "Um, I'mma just change..." He just stares at me, "So do you mind turning around?" I ask, laughing lightly. "Oh yeah, sorry." He turns back around, not looking. I grab a big t-shirt and take off my clothes, slipping into the t-shirt. "And done." I say, but as I turn around I find him already under the blanket, shirtless. "Did you seriously....?" I trail off, "Watch you that entire time? Yes, yes I did." He says, proudly. "You fucking perv.." I mumble as I walk up to the bed. "A lady should not have such a potty mouth." He says, smirking. "Good thing I'm not a lady." I shrug my shoulders, smirking back. Next thing I know he has me pinned down to the bed and has my arms held above my head. "I can punish you so bad, right now, that you wouldn't be able to walk for weeks." He whispers in my ear, "Bet." I replied, smirking at his reaction. He pulled up enough to see my face, he looked so shock but at the same time... aroused..... I laughed a little, "Two can play." I told him, bucking my hips up, sucessfully giving me enough time to get under the blankets. He chuckled and crawled into the blankets next to me, "Oh I'm so gonna get you back for that one." He mumbled, putting his hands around my waist and pulling me against his toned torso. "Mhmm." I hummed in response, slowly slipping into dreamland. "I love you so much, my non-believing mate." Was the last thing I heard before I was fully englufed by sleep.
