Avery's POV

Can I just say... WOW!

The way this felt was unlike any ordinary kiss. It was almost as if this whole time I had never experienced the true feeling of a kiss. He was setting off fireworks, glitter bombs, confetti, the whole lot! As cringe worthy as this sounds... it was perfect.

We broke away from each other after what seemed like forever and I looked up at him. Suddenly, all the rubbish he had said back in the forrest was gone and I understood his true feelings through this kiss. His eyes were literally shining with love and he was giving me a look of complete euphoria. Before I could even say a word to him, he started talking.

"Everything I said yesterday was a lie, I didn't mean a single word. I'm so sorry for hurting you like that... I'll never do it again I promise."

He paused for a second to read my emotions.
I grabbed his hands and smiled back at him, signalling that I had forgiven him.

He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him till we were centimetres away from each other. His husky voice sent shivers down my spine and he spoke with such confidence.

"Be with me."

I held my breath and closed my eyes for a few seconds. This wasn't the time to be having doubts, but quite frankly I was!

If I let him in, I'm definitely putting his life at risk. He doesn't know everything about me, and to be honest I'm worried that when he does he'll walk away. But I can deal with that when the time comes. Right?

Am I ready to let him into my world? No.

Am I putting his life at risk by even thinking about it? Yes.

Am I still gonna do it anyway? YES.

"Yes" I whispered and he wrapped me in a tight embrace.

I had kept my feelings towards him locked away in fear of rejection and letting someone see my scars. But standing here with him, our bodies fitting perfectly together, everything felt right. I'm willing to risk it all... for him.

I hugged him back and he spun me around. We laughed like complete idiots and I couldn't help but give him a small peck on the cheek. He grabbed my hand and we turned back towards the campsite. I looked ahead and froze in my place.

My eyes widened at who was stood there.

Cameron.

And he looked furious.

Instinctively, I went to take my hand away from Ryan but he held on. I looked at him, giving him a signal that Cameron was about to kill us any second now, but he just gave me a look that it was all gonna be okay.

Um, is he crazy?!

Does he not see that his brother is about to set us on fire?!

He stomped towards us till he was right infront of Ryan. They were chest to chest, doing that really dramatic but manly square up thing. Ryan slightly pushed me away and I took a few steps back. I really wanted to make a noise because this was actually pathetic to witness, but I kept my cool and let them have their bro talk.

"So you decided to follow what your stupid head told you to do then" He said with spite.

Ryan didn't answer him.
