~ZOE'S POV~

It's been a week since I've broken up with Harry, and all I have gotten in return are about fifty missed calls and eighty-two text messages from the man himself. So, instead of falling into the pit of regret and actually replying to the messages, I decided to leave my phone at my new apartment in London and go to work at the café.

"Hey Zo!" A happy Australian accent called out, as the bell rang from the door. I turned to see Ashton at the counter with his cheeky smile, dimples and all.

"Ash! What are you doing here?" I asked, walking around the counter to give Ashton a quick hug.

"Me and the boys are staying here for a couple weeks before heading off on tour, I was walking past, thought I'd pop in and say hi!" He grinned.

"Well, it's nice to see you again!" I smiled. "Want to order anything?"

He looked up at the menu, scanning it with his eyes and stroking his short stubble beard jokingly.

"I'll just take a banana milkshake, with extra banana!"

"Coming right up!" I chuckled, quickly making it for him and passing it over.

"So, how's the other lads?"

"Yeah, they are all good, Zayn got to see Perrie the other day, that was cute," I smiled.

"And you and Harry?"

"Oh. Er, we broke up."

"What!? Why!? When!? You two were so perfect!?"

"Last week. He cheated on me. Niall caught him kissing Bella and showed me pictures as proof, so I ended it."

"Aw no, I'm so sorry to hear that!" He pouted, putting his hand over the top of mine in sympathy. I just nodded and bit my lip, trying not to think about it.

"I gotta go, but you can come over sometime to say bye before we leave again, yeah?"

"Yeah, that would be great." I smiled, before he patted my back and walked out with his milkshake. I was missing Harry, but I'm not sure if it was him I was missing, or just the feelings he gave me. What I did know, was that I didn't want to speak to him. Not for now anyway.

I clicked the play button on my remote, getting comfortable, ready to watch my favourite episode of Teen Wolf, but my phone started ringing. Why, out of all the hours in the day, did you have to call now, ruining my time to drool over Dylan O'Brien.

"Hello." I answered my phone not bothering to look at the caller ID.

"Hey Zo! It's Luke." He replied as I just put a bunch of skittles in my mouth, pausing the TV.

"Hey Luke," I said with a mouthful, "what's up?"

"Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to talk since I haven't spoken to you in ages."

"Awh, did you miss me that much?" I asked with a laugh.

"Yeah I did." You could hear the grinning smile in his voice. I could hear cars in the background, and him dropping his keys or something.

"You're outside aren't you..." I trailed, rolling my eyes.

"No!" He shrieked. I got up and opened the front door to see Luke himself standing in front of me.
"How did you know?" Luke gasped hanging up, me doing the same.

"My windows are open. I could hear you talking slightly and you dropped your keys." I rolled my eyes once again but moving to the side to open the door a bit more so Luke could come in.

I shut the door behind him, and walked to the sofa, pulling my blanket back over and tucking my legs up, as he sat next to me.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked.

I shook my head, and he pulled the blanket over him too and put an arm round me.
"Ash told me, about you and Harry." He said, and I just nodded.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

I didn't answer, and he hugged me tightly, and awkwardly may I add, as we were sat down.

"Do you wanna go for a walk? Down to the park or something?"

"Yeah, please."

We stood up and I turned off my tv, before slipping my shoes on and wrapping my coat around my body.

I pulled my light grey beanie onto my head and tugged on some gloves as it was very cold out.

"You look well cute like that!" He beamed, twirling his scarf round his neck.

"I could say the same to you Lukey." I smirked. As we began to walk, Luke gently grabbed my hand, and I didn't mind.

"Look," I smiled, breathing out.

"What?"

"I can see my breath!" I grinned.

"You're amused so easily," he chuckled, looking at me.

I looked up to him, grinning.

"When I was younger, I used to pretend I was smoking or something, I thought I was really cool!" I giggled.

"I remember doing that too, I would act so hard!" Luke laughed with me. I stared at his lip ring for a while, before averting my gaze back to his eyes.

"I'm thinking of getting my nose pierced."

"That would look really nice on you,"

"You wanna go now?"

I nodded, and he led me the way to the piercing shop.

"Hello, what would you like?" The lady asked. She was covered in tattoos and piercings, and her hair was died a bright purple.

"A nose piercing please."

"What side?"

"Right please."

"That's £15." Jesus.

"I'll pay." Luke smiled, handing the money over.

"Thank you," I mouthed, as I sat down.

I squeezed Luke's hand the whole time, and it took a while as I kept squealing and jumping every time she lifted up the needle. But I was very pleased with my small silver stud, and Luke loved it too.

"Let's go to the park now." Luke smiled as we walked out of the door.

"Yeah, let's go!" I grinned, taking his hand and starting to skip along the path towards the playground.
Luke started laughing before letting go of my hand and running towards the swing set.

"Let's have a race! The quickest one who can get the highest wins." Luke shouted as I ran towards him and sat on the swing.

"You're on Hemmings." I grinned, sticking my tongue out.
We started swinging but in the end, Luke won.

"Haha! I won!" Luke shouted jumping off the swing to do his victory dance.

"Well done." I slowly clapped, "What's your prize for winning?" I asked.

Luke put his hand under his chin, lifting up his head. "A kiss on the lips from you."
That boy.
