Chapter seventeen

Duncun's  P.O.V

I finally let all my feelings out. I f*cking told her I like her. I mean I'm her boss and she's my P.A. It's so unethical but I seriously don't care about it. We're not the first and definitely not going to be the last people having more of a working relationship. I can't stop tormenting myself like I've been doing for the past year.

After I kissed her goodnight I headed straight to my room. The lights turned on dramatically the moment I closed the door behind me. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. She could have done better. It's not like we're in a relationship or something. She was just a distraction and it wasn't even working but I know I have to tell her the truth even if I don't really care if she knows it not.

“ Where were you?” she questioned,like a mother who just caught her son sneaking in.

“ I went for a walk and now if you'd excuse me I am really tired right now to deal with you.” I said in a bored tone and headed straight for bed. She crawled into bed a few seconds later and tried to get close but I pushed her away. I hope she gets it.

“ Why are you pushing me away?” she stated in an angry tone. “ You've never pushed me away. Is it because of that bitch you have as a P.A?” she continued and I couldn't help but snap at her.

“ She's not a bitch. The bitch here is you. So please stop complaining and let me go back to sleep. I'm really tired.” I said in a dismissal tone and went straight to bed.

Melissa's P.O.V.

I woke up to loud screams coming from Duncun's room. It's way too early for them to be having a fit. I mean the sun isn't even out yet and they're already arguing. What a horrible couple!

Then it clicked after I exclaimed in my head. They're not a couple. He's now my boyfriend and I'm very sure the argument is about me. I mean I wouldn't take it well if I were her.

I quickly pressed myself against the door because I mean I'm curious like that.

“ You're breaking up with me to be with that airhead?” she stated more than asked with disbelief dripping from her voice.

“ She's not an airhead. The only airhead here is you since you didn't notice  I was using you to get to Mel.” he stated, clearly not in the mood for this conversation.

I didn't know if I should be fluttered or angry. I mean I'm a little fluttered because he thought it would be difficult to have me but angry that he just used someone like that. It's against human code( if that actually exist) but it's still wrong.

Alessia came barging in through my door. I had totally blanked out on the argument.

“ You b*tch! You're the reason he broke up with me. I knew you were after him. What did you use huh?”

She looked so hysterical standing there and accusing me of something I have no idea of.

“ The only thing she used was her personality and you definitely don't have it so leave like you screamed you were about to?”

Duncun stated and open the door for a dumbstruck Alessia to get out of my room. Once she left he closed the door behind him and got closer to me.

“ I'm sorry she did that. I didn't think it would go that far.” he said looking dejected.

I walked closer to him and hugged him. Just to let him know I'm ok with everything.

“ Do you mind if I spend the night with you?” he asked with a little flicker of hope behind his eyes.

“ Yes you can. You don't have to ask.” I told him and kissed him. I've been wanting to do that for a really long time.

We headed off to bed after the kiss and he went straight to sleep. This night has really been crazy. From the kiss to the talk in my room to asking me to be his girlfriend to breaking up with Alessia and now spending the night together. I just hope we have less drama if people get to know.

That's a thought for another day but now I'm off to bed.

I've been really lazy and I've been loosing ideas lately but I'll try and update more.
