|Sirius's POV|

I wish we could talk ourselves out of this nightmare, but just like most of my wishes it couldn't be fulfilled.

I felt guilty for dragging Moony into the kitchen when he is feeling so crummy, he should be resting and preparing for tomorrows dangers. I was shocked to learn that Remus would have to face the moon alone. I also felt guilty for not telling Pete about our little meeting. He was an important player to all of our pranks, he was the sneakiest of us all. Turning into a rat helped with it.

James and I helped Remus back to the hospital wing were Madam Pomphrey could provided the help he would need for tomorrow. He would stay there until escorted into the shack where he would be for his transformation. Normally we would meet him inside and would do our best to male the whole night the most comfortable for our friend. And since James and I were larger animals we would play with Remus's werewolf side to distract him form hurting Remus. It was a long night, but it was worth helping our best friend.

I didn't understand why I felt to guilty there was a time when we basically stand on the sidelines watching Remus suffer alon and we often forgot Peter one accident. I didn't feel as intensely guilty during those times so why now. I ended up blaming it on the fact the I had been around soft, kind, annoying Hufflepuffs all day long.

I told James, I would find Peter after dinner and apologize to the little guy since I felt the most responsible for him not being there. I also promised to fill the little guy in on all the stuff that's happening and when we would be meeting up next.

As I entered the Great Hall unfashiabley late I had to remind myself that I was suppose to sit with the Hufflepuff's not the Gryffindor's. We had planned it out so James would make an entrance even later the I had so no one would suspect that they had been hanging out together.

Not paying much attention I failed to notice someone waiting for me. She grabbed my wrist and attention harshly. I stumbled trying to keep up as she dragged me over towards the friends had meet that morning. I finally realized who it was my favorite Hufflepuff, Destiny.

"Where were you?" she hissed slamming me into an open seat.

"Well hello to you too, Tiny." I teased grinning widely at her.

"Don't call me Tiny, Princess." Destiny shot back at him punching my shoulder.

"Then don't call me Princess!" I argued back.

"Then quiet acting like a spoiled royal. Just because you come from that blasted ugly Balck family doesn't mean you the top of the stupid food chain!" Destiny growled back the stakes rising quickly.

I was taken aback by her little out burst. "Uh, sorry Destiny it was suppose to be a joke. And please don't compare me to that family I am way to pretty to be one." I frowned.

Destiny went from a breathing hard beast to a 'cute' little puppy. "Oh..."

We sat in awkward silence for sometime before everyone miraculously pulled back to their original conversation. I took this time to find Peter. I spotted Pete sitting near the middle with Frank.

"Hay Sirius," Alice asked yet let pulling my attention to her. I gave her a famous smile causing a small pink blush to grace her face. "Could you please come with me to talk to Frank..."

"Finally going to ask him out, eh," I said interuppting her. Her face went from a light pink to a red tomatoes.

"Could you please come with me to talk to Frank. I don't want to go alone." Alice replied still speaking calmly.

"Yeah, I can be your wingman in winning his heart over. Only if you promise to make me your best man when you do get married." Destiny smashed her fist into my shoulder. I yelped in pain swatting her away from me. Alice gave her a grateful smile before standing up.

I quickly got to my feet offering her my arm which she hesitantly linked her with. I was glad that I now had the opportunity to talk to Peter without looking completely blizzard. My plan originally was to tell any who asked I was doing a favor for Alice by talking to his little friends.

Once out of the tiny beast earshot Alice took the liberty of staring up a conversation. We walked slowly. She told me she would gladly help me get back to my world, universe, thing. I was grateful that she believed my crazy story and that she was so willing to help. I promised her that I would do all that I could to get her with Frank. They were perfect for each other.

Finally we arrived at the glorious nesalgic Gryffindor table. "Franklin Longbottom." I said loudly. Frank turned around a roll half stuffed into his face. When he realized Alice was there starting at him his eyes went from nice frank to deer in headlights.

Alice and I glanced back and forth from each other to Frank. I was the first to crack as I burst into a roar of laughter. The others were soon to follow. This caught Peter's attention turning around slowly. Once we had finally calmed down after a few rounds of the laughter we finally fell into a comfortable conversation.

Peter starred at me the whole time. I smiled at him, but talked a little longer to weave my way out of the conversation to help Alice feel comfortable.

I gave my attention once I felt they had forgotten me. "Hey, Pete."

"Pad...er Sirius!" He squecled out bouncing for joy. This made my guilt double, he was so excited to see a familiar face it was almost heart breaking.

"Look Worm..Pete, I'm I'm sorry," I said my lowering my head a bit ashamed.
