Natasha's POV

That was actually FUN! Messing with Bruce has officially become my hobby! I think as I stroll into the canteen casually, a red-faced Bruce behind me, panting from the long run around the school he took to find me. He's actually pretty good at playing Hide-and-Seek!

Flashback

I ran down a hallway, laughing happily, feeling free for once. Bruce seemed to shout something at me, but I was already too far away to hear him. I soon realised this wasn't the way to canteen, and decided to go back the way I came.

Suddenly, I heard footsteps in front of me, and a small "dammit". I smirked, recognising Bruce's voice. Deciding to mess with him a bit, I hid behind a pillar. 1...2...NOW! I jumped out from where I was hiding, and was surprised to find no Bruce. 'What the...' I thought. Suddenly, a voice came from behind me. "HA!" I jumped up, then turned around to see a smug-looking Bruce smirking at me. "How..." I asked him. I mean, no one had ever been able to sneak up on me before!!!

Bruce eyes darkened slightly, "Let's just say... This is not my first time playing Hide-and-Seek before..." I would have pressed him for further details, but judging from the look in his eyes, something tragic happened.

Deciding to loosen up the tension for a bit, I gave him a smirk and asked, "So where is the canteen actually?" Bruce looked startled for a moment, then pointed to the way I came from and said," You...Umm... You kinda ran into the opposite direction...?"

"Ok! Race you there!!" I started to run off again, laughing at the desperate expression on Bruce's face. "Not again!" He groaned, then took off trying to catch up with me.I smirked at him, then start to pick up my pace.

And hence, the now red-faced Bruce and a smirking me, lining up for lunch. Yep, messing with Bruce is officially my hobby. He is just so...DORKY!

Suddenly, Bruce turns around and says with a sympathetic look,"Oh ya Natasha! I forgot to warn you that the food in this canteen is 'amazingly' awful. Be prepared." I laugh at him, and say," I am sure I have had worse..." Well, perks of being a gang girl... Bruce seems a little unsettled by this, but shrugs it off and says," Well, then I am sure this is going to change your mind." I just laugh and shake my head. I mean, I'm a literal gang girl dude! I even ate scraps from trash bins(It is before I met the gang. It tastes like hel.)! I am sure it is not that bad...

...Or not.

"Is this even FOOD?" I ask Bruce in disbelief, after tasting a so-called 'spaghetti', which looks like goo, and tastes like someone's vomit. Bruce just smirks at me and says,"Who knows? No one has ever been to the kitchen before except the cook..." I cock an eyebrow at him, and give him a 'Seriously?' look. He just gives me a shrug and continues to smirk at me. Dam... He looks so handsome when he smirks... Wait WHAT!?

I feel myself going red at that thought. WTF Natasha!? N-No! You are NOT crushing on him!!! STOP BLUSHING BEFORE BRUCE NOTICES!!! Unluckily, Bruce seems to have noticed my blush, but before he can ask me what is the matter, a certain bi*** named Brian walks over to our table, an expression which can only be described as evil on his face.

"Well well well... What do we have here, Bruce Banner with a new girlfriend?" When people nearby hear this, they all turn to look at us and start whispering among themselves. I can hear things like "Banner has a girlfriend?", "What the heck...", "Oh my gosh..." Something a person say next to me sparks my interest: "Can't believe he will get a girlfriend again after what happened..." Again, huh... Bruce's file didn't say that he had a girlfriend... I wonder what happened.

Bruce is quiet after Brian's words, dangerously quiet. After a while, he looks up at Brian, pure fury in his eyes. He then say in a dark tone,"I would advice you to stop right now Brian..." Brian just barks out a laugh and says,"Boo hoo! Little puny Banner can't handle a little heartbreak! Actually, I'm not surprised she left you in end. She probably 'moved away' to escape a sh** like you! You're just a useless piece of trash!" At this point, Bruce is trembling, either in anger or sadness. I look at him worriedly, as Brian takes a deep breath to continue his speech.

What he said next is disgusting.

"Your parents probably DIED because they didn't want to take care of a stupid sl** like you!"

The whole canteen go quiet after that. They all know Brian has gone too far this time...

Silent tears trickle down Bruce's face, and I look at him with sympathy and sadness. I see him taking a deep breath, then he looks up at Brian with hatred in his eyes. He run towards Brian, about to punch him. I suck in a breath, and start to stand up to stop him. Suddenly, Bruce's eyes widened, something seems to have changed his mind. Instead of punching Brian, he just gives him a shove, then run out of the canteen, full on crying now.

Brian is fuming now, angry that Bruce dared to shove him. He then turn to look at me and started flirting, FLIRTING with me. "So, you are Bruce's new chick? Gotta admit, Bruce has good taste." He then lean towards me, his smelly breath making me want to vomit. "How about you go out with me hottie? I am so much better than that sl**!" Ok Brian you just signed your death wish cuz you just pissed off THE Black Widow...

I stare him in the eyes, and whisper in a dark tone,"Brian right? You did the wrong thing messing with me, and messing with BRUCE made it even worst...' Brian is slowly backing away of me, his expression morphed into one of fear. I grab his collar, and threaten him,"Mess with me all you want Brian, but never, EVER mess with Bruce agin. You hear me?" Brian just keep trembling, and I think he is pissing his pants. I sigh when he doesn't reply me. You HAVE to make me shout... I take a deep breath, then shout right at his face,"YOU HEAR ME!?" Brian manages to stutter out a "Y...Yes..."

Satisfied that Brian is too scared to mess with me and Bruce now, I run out of the canteen, and start to go around the whole campus to find Bruce. I am really frustrated of how I worry so much about Bruce. DAM IT! Why am I so worried about him? He is just a target!!!

But... That's not how I really think about Bruce, right? I let out a sigh, then start to run faster, hoping to catch up with Bruce.

Where are you Bruce...

Hey guys! Umm... I'm really sorry for the late chapter. School is really getting on my nerve lately and I need to revise for all my subjects... TwT

I will try my best to update one more chapter this week, but that is nearly impossible so ya...
