It was a normal day, you and Eridan were secretly hanging out at the park, enjoying the sun.
He entangled his hand in yours as you smiled at him. Your (e/c) connected with his violet ones as your smile slowly disappeared. You began to lean into him as he did too.
"(y/n) (l/n)!?" You heard a voice yell at you. You swiftly turned your head to the voice. You nearly passed out as your mother and father stormed over to you.
"Mom I can explain!" You yelled. Your mom grabbed you by your hair and pulled you up to your feet, dragging you back home. You began to kick and scream as you watched your father beat Eridan.
Once your father was satisfied he walked after you, leaving a beaten and barely breathing Eridan.
Once you go home, your mother threw you into the wall and screamed at you.
"WHY WERE YOU WITH HIM!?" she roared as you stayed silent. Your father walked up to you and slapped you. You hissed in pain as you brought your hand up to your cheek.
"Why?" You barely whispered as you looked up at your mother and father. They looked at each other as your mother handed your father something.
A knife. A shiny kitchen knife. You shook you head as tears filled up in your eyes.
"Sorry hun. But we can't have a daughter who disobeys us. Don't worry, we'll name our next child (y/n)." Your father said as he lifted up the knife and swung it down.

"NO!" you screamed jolting up in your bed. That nightmare felt so real.
You lifted your hand up to your face and noticed you were crying. You quickly wiped away the tears from your eyes and sighed. 'It was only a dream (y/n).... It was only a dream.'
You got up from your bed and quickly changed into a pair of sweat pants and a plain (f/c) Hoodie that Aradia got for you on your birthday.
You grabbed you bag and went downstairs and into the kitchen to get a poptart. You noticed a blue note on the fridge that your mom left there.
'Dear (y/n),
Im sorry to say, but your father and I have a business trip in (random place). We won't be back for a week. We're sorry we couldn't tell you earlier, but business is business.

The note read. You sighed a little, and grabbed a poptart. Your parents did this a lot. And I mean a lot, but meh. You got used to it.
After that whole thing you got to school, went to your locker, put your books away and grabbed the ones that you needed and headed to class. You took a seat next to Aradia and Sollux to stop their bickering and sighed.
