I threw my hands onto the table. "What did Luna tell you?" I questioned as my eyes widened. "Oh my God... the sad part about this, is that I'm not even surprised. Luna has been trying to ruin my life since I was born." I looked up at Aiden. "Don't you understand? Everything that she says is a lie. I loved you, Aiden."
Aiden lowered his head, but I could tell by his facial expression that he felt horrible. "I know, Khloe." He let out a heavy sigh. "I realized that Luna was crazy."
"What exactly did Luna say to you?" I questioned. "I want to know what lie she came up with this time!"
"Okay, relax, Khloe," Aiden mumbled as he raised his hand.
I could practically feel my face heating up with anger, and I could see that Aiden regretted his words almost instantly. "Okay, Khloe," Aiden said quickly. "I didn't mean it like that, I just— I'll tell you exactly what Luna said."
"Thank you," I said simply.
Aiden nodded his head. "I always knew that Luna was strange, so I don't know why I even believed her when she said that you were just using me."
My jaw dropped. "What?" I had to take a second just to breathe because my head was spinning. "She said the exact same thing to Hayden," I mumbled as I looked up at Aiden.
Aiden's jaw clenched. "He's the reason all of this even happened."
I blinked. "What?"
"Yeah," Aiden nodded his head. "I thought you were still hung up on Hayden, and it made me so angry." He explained and I was shocked. "Luna said that you were just using me and it made sense... at the time."
'No, no." I shook my head quickly. "Luna is a very sick person, don't you understand?" I exclaimed and Aiden nodded his head. "There's a lot that you don't know about Luna." I was referring to the obsession Luna practically had on Hayden and probably still did. "What happened between Hayden and I has nothing to do with you. I would never use you." I mumbled, and I was being truthful. I did love Aiden.
"I know that I messed up, Khloe." Aiden lowered his head. "I always did find Luna a little strange, but I never knew that she hated you so much."
"Well, she does." I crossed my arms over my chest as my eyes drifted towards the floor. "It's sad actually." A frown crawled onto my lips. "It's sad to know how much my own sister hates me."
"I actually wouldn't look at it like that, Khloe," Aiden said softly and I looked up at him. "She's not mentally stable. She probably doesn't even know where all that anger towards you is coming from."
I decided right there and then that I was going to go talk to Luna. No matter how many times my parents told me to stay away from her because they believe that she'll just manipulate me, I didn't care. I needed to talk to her because I needed to know the truth.
