"Where were you yesterday, Khloe?" Luna asked as she walked into my room and jumped onto my bed.
I glanced over at her through my mirror. "I went to the hospital with Hayden." I explained focusing my attention onto my hair. I was trying my hardest to made it look decent.
As soon as I mentioned Hayden's name Luna had a expression on her face that I couldn't quite place. "Why?" She simply asked.
I turned around and looked at her. "His grandmother is very sick. That's part of the reason why his family moved here. She has no one else."
Luna nodded her head slowly. "That's horrible, I hope she gets better soon."
I wasn't really sure if that was going to happen any time soon, but we all could hope. "Same here."
Yesterday after Kiera dropped me off at school, because I saw Cadence, Alicia's biological mother, I haven't been able to think properly. Should I tell Luna? Should I tell Andrew? I shook my head in an attempt to clear my mind.
"What's wrong, Khloe?"
My eyes widened as I looked over at my sister. "Nothing," I said almost too quickly. "I have to leave for school now, Luna."
I started to pick up my books when Luna finally spoke again. "Bring Hayden over after school one day, okay?"
"Sure," I mumbled swinging my bag over my shoulders. "Get out of my room, Luna!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs.
"Good morning, Khloe." Andrew said and as soon as I looked up at him I instantly froze.
I knew that this wasn't a good time to tell Andrew about Cadence so I quickly shook my head and spread a smile across my lips. "Hey Andy, good morning."
He tilted his head at me and I started to get nervous. Could he tell that there was something on my mind? "What's wrong, Khloe?" He asked softly.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Nothing, I'm just really tired."
Andrew nodded his head. "Okay," He simply said. "Have a great day at school."
I smiled at him and then started to walk towards the kitchen. "Hi, mom." I said as I wrapped my arms around her.
Mom gave me a tight hug back. "Hey sweetheart, do you want something to eat?"
I shook my head. "No, Alicia and I have to leave soon."
I would love to eat bacon and eggs everyday but I always took too long to get ready which resulted in no time for breakfast. "Where's Alicia, by the way?"
"I'm here, Khloe!" Alicia yelled as she ran towards me.
"Okay, come on." I laughed holding out my hand for Alicia to grab. "I'll see you after school, mom."
