The crew finally reached Fabric Island. Luffys jaw dropped in disbelief of the sight infront of him.
"Whaaaat? This island is freaking huge! Oi Robin, Why are most of the buildings made with something other than concrete?" He looks around at the Island and gawks. It looked as if someone bombarded this island from the ground up with textiles of silk, flowing with psychedelic colours and abstract patterns.
Robin, digging deep into the history of the island explains,
"Because, Captain, the people that lives here worship the luxurious material, Silk. It brings joy to the Fabricans and represents purity along side with virtue. Mostly everyone on this Island is considered to be rich if they have silk in their possession... especially white silk because it's such a rare collectable, but they would go to such lengths to even cut a piece of silk from the ground to even the buildings, which is considered a serious crime on this island. To be perfectly honest, Fabric Island isn't no where near how big it used to be a few years ago." Robin smirked, even explaining the history of an island gets her fired up a journey. She always had this crazed look in her eyes which sparkled ever so brightly.
"Hmm" She goes on. "I'm surprised that this city isn't torn to shreds right now." She placed her hand on her chin, taking in the wonderful view she'd been gifted with.
Everyone stood at the front of the deck anticipating what would come next. There was never a dull moment living with the Straw Hats.
"I see. I think I should take the lead! Me and my 8,000 followers has been on every Island without leaving with a scratch!" Usopp suddenly had an outburst, standing tall with one finger up in the air, oozing with confidence.
"Liar." Luffy, Sanji, Chopper and Zoro said bluntly, crushing Usopps pride, causing them to get in a scramble.
Robin did nothing but giggle and wait for their foolish antics to blow over.
"Now now, I've been here once before when I was a little kid. My memory's abit rusty around the edges, but I had a pretty good idea to where we're going! We will go to The Taylors to get your suits and my dress fitted for the ball." Robin instructed the men. "Don't forget to bring all our gold as the expenses of the material will be soaring high." She reminded them.
A few minutes after, everyone was packed up and ready to go. "Robin-chwannn~ We're ready to depart from the ship! Let's go my beauty!" Sanji energetically twirled around Robin and practically drooled all over himself.
"Jheeze, does swirly brows not know that his perviness has no limits?" Zoro irked to himself under his breath.
"Shut it, moss head!" Sanji argued back with Zoro as he diverted all his attention onto the green haired man and both of them scowling at each other.
"After Robins lead!" Were the last words Luffy said before leaving the ship and is set to a new journey.
