I woke hours later by a screaming noise. I got up and limped my way to the door, when I walked out, there is a crowd of them, they were everywhere. He was right, I can never go back. It was dim and musky out. "Listen up! Tonight! We find them! We make them ours! "Zach shouted to us. The crowd cheered back in response. He explained the plan. How it would work. Where to look. Where to hide. And with one last shout, we were sent off.
We made our way to the blockaded city, the city I called home only days ago. It was difficult going back, there was nearly nothing left. A couple small buildings here and there, to keep them safe. There were only a few of them left. And it was our job to get them. To make them one of us. To turn them, like they turned me.
