Finn is in love with the girl who lives in the same apartment complex as him, will he ever make a move?

He's seen her around for last couple of months. She’s the most beautiful thing he has ever laid his eyes upon.

Her long brown locks, that flow down her back resting just above her shoulders. Those gorgeous chocolate eyes and those stunning lips, how he dreams he could lay his own against hers…

She was a sight of perfection.

He rushes around his apartment, trying his hardest not to trip over the rug in the living room as he hurriedly makes his way to the bathroom, checking his appearance one last time.

It was Tuesday morning just before nine. He was so used to doing this by now; he had been doing it for the last two months.

He would wake up at eight and try to be ready by eight thirty knowing that by nine he had to be out the door.

That left him half an hour to read the paper or watch television, even have breakfast before he had to leave for work.

Alright, maybe he wasn’t going straight to work that early. His work was only ten minuets away and on Tuesdays he would always arrived twenty minuets early. Well at least he had been for the last two months.

He knew that the angel that lived in the apartment above his would be leaving for work in 15 minuets and if he was lucky he would be able to spend a few minuets with her before she too left for work.

Ok, so maybe they wouldn’t actually be talking or communicating in anyway. They never did! But he has hopes that one day he would grow the balls to tell her his feelings- or at least say hello.

She owned the coffee shop around the corner. She had brought it a while ago when she moved here from Florida. The only reason he knew that was because his half brother Noah Puckerman was dating a close friend of hers, Quinn Fabray for about a month.

Unfortunately it didn’t work out for them.

Quinn also works at the café that was how her and Puck met in the first place. One day after work we went to grab a coffee and they stubbled across the small café.

Through the glass he could see the goddess from his dreams behind the counter with a welcoming smile as she greeted one of the customers.

He ended up dragging Puck into the café but unfortunately she did not serve them.

He had been living in New York for three years now, in that same apartment that he dreaded, but somehow she had changed that.

He ran to the door with his suitcase in hand, taking a deep breath he steps out of his apartment locking the door behind him before making his way to the elevator.

The elevator.

That was the place were it all happened. Ok, so maybe nothing that he wished for had happened but he had shared that elevator with her a hundred times.

Each time he would be holding his breathe hoping that she would be in there waiting for him.

Like he had mentioned before, she lived upstairs on the 5th floor, while he lived on the 4th.

He could still remember the first time he had seen her. She had taken his breathe away with her beauty, simply by sending him a sweet smile while waiting patiently for the lift to stop on her floor.

He had actually forgotten all about exiting and ended up passing the 4th floor wanting to stay in the lift with her, contemplating weather or not to talk or just stay quiet. He didn’t have much time though because just as the words were about to leave his mouth, the doors opened and she walked pass him leaving him alone in his own world.
