The Betrayal

It's been about a few weeks since the Tournament of Elements and I don't know if it's me or not, but everyone seems to be pushing me away even my mother. Luckily I still have Sensei Wu by my side.

I sighed as I walked towards the kitchen since it was dinner, yeah things even during meals have gotten rough since my father went to the departed realm. They've ignored me during meals and acted like I didn't exist in the slightest. "Hey guys" I said walking in

"Did you hear anything?" Kai said

"Kai" I said sternly

"There it is again. Must be a gnat or something right now that is buzzing around my ear or something"Kai said

"Fine I'm not hungry anyways" I growled leaving the dining room

I closed the door yet  stuck around outside the door."Finally that moron is gone" Cole's voice said

"I can't believe he actually thought he was one of us" Kai said

I felt my heart grow heavy with every word they said. "Green ninja of destiny my foot more like a spoiled child who took all the glory for himself while we did all the work" Jay added

"You said it" Nya added

I felt tears streaming down my face. I  quietly left the area as fast as I could. I ran to find my mother only to find her cozying up to some stranger in the living room. "Oh Hugo I love you" Mom said

"More than that washout former husband of yours?" Hugo asked

"Even more than him and my equally washed out son" Mom said

I then ran to my room before I started to cry my eyes out for real into my pillow. I heard a knocking on my door,"Nephew is everything alright" It was uncle Wu

I rubbed any remaining tears from my face before opening my door. "Nephew" Uncle said concern lacing his voice

"Why me?" I weakly asked

"Tell me nephew" Wu said

We sat down on the edge of my bed and I told him what had been going on. "Hm I'm also curious as to why the ninja are acting this way you are brothers to one another in all but blood. So even this confuses me" Wu said

I was silent the whole time. "Nephew maybe what is called for is time away from your brothers not forever just for a time. "Wu said

"What?" I asked confused

"Even family get tired of one another after so long, nephew maybe what you and your brothers need is a break from one another" Wu said

"Them no. From me I think is the issue" I honestly

"Well then nephew your father had a family friend the Cheng's to be specific Sabine Cheng she's married now to Tom Dupain and they have a daughter Marinett Dupain-Cheng. If I can get them to agree to this would you like to live with them for a time and go to school with their daughter till this is settled?" Wu said

I thought about it before nodding my head yes. With that Wu went to make the call to the Sabine an hour later he came back and said that she had agreed to let me stay with her. I quickly packed my bags no more than two though. I packed some shirts, jeans, my favorite hoodie, socks and my spare set of sneakers. I also packed my elemental master gi just in case you never know, along with the only picture I have of my dad and I before I zipped up my bags. Wu had given me my plane ticket and I rode my dragon to the airport. Once I got there I went through the security check and into the waiting area. for my flight to Paris. I then noticed that an old man in a red tropical print t-shirt had been knocked over and was struggling to get back up and no one was helping him. I got up and walked over to him and helped him up. "Thank you young man" He said
