The Betrayal

It's been a few weeks since I first came to Paris. The paper work is now done I'm officially apart of the Dupain-Cheng family. My work with my Kwamii and my own powers is going quite well. Even school is going well now that Chloe has been knocked down a few pegs, man is that girl annoying. But right now I was burning some incense and meditating since it had been a while since I'd last done so.

Uncle Wu had sent me what he could procure of my things from the guys including my sword, starfeaer comics, and my gi's throughout the years. Mari had fun with that one asking to wear my first gi that I'd ever wore. But back to meditating, it wasn't going that well since Mari was babysitting Manon the kids of a family friend.  Yes I like kids and all, but boy was Manon loud.  Seeing how I wouldn't be getting any meditating done I put the incense out and went to the living room. I found Mari chasing Manon around the living room. "Manon please give me that hat back" Mari pleaded.

"No I wanna be a fashion designer to" Manon said in defiance

I watched the two of them. "Wow if your sister can watch her for the afternoon she'll be better than Ladybug" Gong said

"Agreed" I laughed

That is till Manon took my Jacket from my hands and started playing superhero with it. Was I that bad before the tomorrows tea? "Manon" I said chasing after her to get my jacket and the hat Mari was working on back from her

The doorbell rang and while I was chasing Manon for my Jacket Mari opened it. "Alya" Mari said

"Hey Alya" I said

"Hey you two" Alya said

The two started to have Girl talk which got Manon curious causing her to drop my jacket and the hat. This time to keep it out of reach I put the hat on the fridge and my jacket on and zipped it up a ways. "Who's this?" Alya asked

"This is Manon one of mom's friends daughters I'm looking after her all afternoon" Mari said

"Let me guess another thing you couldn't say no to" Alya asked hitting it right on the mark

"No I just couldn't ... say no" Mari groaned

"Look go do your girl thing and I'll watch her for you" I said

"No Lloyd I couldn't do that to besides she's... an absolute angel" Mari said pausing only once

Only to have Manon run off again and cause havoc in the kitchen. It was like Mari was the grounds keeper and Manon was the gopher from Cadyshack. Yes I watched the movie a few times since it was airing on tv a few times okay.

"Your just a pushover Marinette" Alya said,"I have to babysit my sisters all the time which makes me an expert on angels"

"Who are you anyway?" Manon rudely asked

"I am a magical unicorn from the world of Rispa disguised as a totally fabulous human girl. I grant magical wishes, but only to little monkeies that behave"Alya said in a playful manner

"No your not" Manon laughed before she had a look of confusion in her eyes,"Are you"

Alya then picked up Manon flew her around the room before placing her on Mari's shoulders and put her hands on her legs. "Let's head to the park" Alya said

"I'll tag along just in case" I said grabbing my phone and wallet heading out the door with them call it a haunch.

We got to the park in record time and then I spotted the reason why we came to the park specifically, Adrien. Mari has a huge crush on him. I sighed in annoyance as Mari went into Adrien la la land. I went and grabbed myself an ice cream cone and sat down in the shade. I waved to Adrien as I passed his photo shoot, glad I'm not doing those anymore man were they annoying.
