Colby's P.O.V.
I wake up and look down at Jake, he looks so peaceful when he is sleeping. Almost as if he has no worries to think about. I try to get up without waking him up but I fail and he stirs in his sleep, "Go back to sleep baby." I get up and look for my boxers, are they even up here. I look at the bed, "We really are weird sexually." I whisper not thinking Jake would hear me. "That we are." He mumbled, I better get out of here before I completely wake him up. I get dressed and walk to Sam's apartment, I text him telling him in coming over. He doesn't answer me, that's weird he always answers. I just walk up to his door and knock, he doesn't answer. I open his door and poke my head in, "Yo dude you home?"
"Yeah I'm in the shower, sorry."
"You're good." I sit down on the couch and open my phone, I get on Instagram and see that Jake posted on his story. "So today I will be telling you all what is really in the loft." He walks up the stairs and stops at the top, he shows the loft. He cleaned it and made the bed, "It's where we sleep, that's all you guys need to calm down." I smile that's my boy. "You ready?" Sam asks as he walks out of his room drying his hair. "Yeah, but what are we doing?"
"We're going to a haunted castle in Springfield Missouri." (I live there and know about this castle, yes it is haunted. If you want to look it up it's the Pythian Castle in Springfield Missouri). "Sounds good. I'm going to go pack, is anyone else going?"
"We are getting the crew together, you, me, Jake, and Corey."
"Alright see you in a bit." I walk back to our apartment and see Jake eating some eggs at the kitchen counter. "You're going with us, we need to pack and be ready in an hour to go get Corey. We're going to this haunted castle in Springfield Missouri."
"Sounds like fun, I'll get my stuff ready and then take a shower."
"I've got to shower too, I'll shower then get my stuff ready." I walk into the bathroom and turn on some music, as I step into the shower I realize I forgot my clothes. I walk out of the bathroom and into our bedroom, "Oh hey Col- why are you naked?"
"I forgot my clothes." I say laughing, "Seams legit."
"It's not like you've never seen me naked before."
"That is true." I get a pair of skinny jeans and a sweatshirt, (this is set around mid November). I walk back to the bathroom and get in the shower and start to wash my hair, "Shit." I say out loud as I try to get the soap out of my eye. "You okay?"
"Yeah I'm good, I just got soap in my eye." I rinse my hair and get out of the shower. "You can get in now." I'm standing in front of the mirror drying my hair while in my boxers, Jake walks in and starts to strip. "Colby the scratches on your back are really bad, did you ever do anything to them?"
"No."
"Let me put something on them." I smile at him, "You're literally the sweetest person I've ever met. I'd love for you to try to help, but they are still sore so be careful baby." He grabs some peroxide and q-tips from the cabinet. "Tell me if it hurts too much." He starts to clean them and it stings but I don't say anything, "Colby you don't have to be tough all the time."
"I know I don't." He puts the peroxide on one that was particularly painful, "Shit." I wince at the stinging, he kisses me to try to make me feel better. "Thanks baby, now get in the shower. Sam texted me saying he is on his way over here." Right after I say that I hear him walk in, "I have to pack real quick and Jake is in the shower."
"What took so long?" When I walk into the living room his question is basically answered, "Jake got worried that my back was going to get infected so he insisted on cleaning the scratches."
"That makes sense, now pack and get your ass ready." I put on my sweatshirt and trow some pants and shirts onto mine and Jake's bag. "I'm ready, I'll go get Jake." I walk into the bathroom and Jake is stepping out of the shower, "I finished packing, but we're only taking one bag I don't feel like taking two."
"That's fine with me."
"Get ready as fast as you can we have to be at the airport in a couple hours."
"Fine, go talk to Sam while I get ready."
"Noooo I want to talk to you."
"Fine, can you get me some boxers and clothes. I wasn't expecting Sam to be here so I didn't bring any in here."
"I got you, SAM CLOSE YOUR EYES. There."
"You just want to see me naked for longer don't you."
"Maybe." I say with a smile. "Why?" Sam says questionably. "Jake forgot cloths and has to go get some." He closes his eyes and me and Jake walk out of the bathroom and into our room. "You should wear black skinny jeans and umm this sweatshirt." I say pulling out one of my sweatshirts. "Fine, but this is going to show all my hickeys."
"Mhm okay, and this is the face of someone who doesn't care. They will see all my hickeys as well." He gets dressed and we walk out and Sam is on the phone with Corey, "Yeah they took forever because Jake fucked up Colby's back and they had to make sure that it didn't get infected......I know right... We'll see you soon."
"Let's go." We try to get to the car and fast as we can so we aren't late for our flight. We toss our stuff in my trunk and Jake gets in the passenger seat, "Hey that's my seat." Sam says, "Eh perks of being Colby's boyfriend I guess." I laugh at Jake, "Jake you are literally a child I swear."
"That would make this whole thing we have going on here a little weird wouldn't you say." I shake my head and Sam unwillingly gets in the backseat. We arrive at Corey's and he is standing outside with his arms crossed, "So you guys decided to do the dirty and you hurt Colby and had to fix it, disgraceful."
"Corey it's fineeeeee." Jake states. We drive to the airport just in time to get there a few minutes before our flight left. "We made it." I say, "Well if someone wouldn't have taken so long getting ready we would have been here faster." Sam says half jokingly. "Shut up we made it didn't we." Jake says.
