How to Save a Life ~ Jolby

12.

Jake's P.O.V.
As we walk into the airport a couple of fans see us and walk over to take pictures. When we were done we headed to the metal detectors to get into the airport. Colby went through without taking off his chain so he had to go twice while we all waited for him. When he walked up to is re-clipping his chain j turn to him and say, "What's wrong baby, too emo for the airport?" He just looks at me and laughs, "I hate you." We all walk to the gate to get on the plane and they are already boarding. "See I told you we would make it Corey." I say, "Well I was worried about it Jake." He says laughing. As we are boarding I realize that I left my charger on the counter, "Shit."
"What?"
"Colby I left the charger on the counter, did you bring yours?"
"Yeah don't worry." I sigh in relief, this time one of us has it together at least. We get on the plane and me and Colby are sat next to each other and Sam and Corey are two rows in front of us. As more people bored the plane we get comfortable, I cuddle up to Colby and he puts his arm around me. "Once we take off we will watch Netflix in my phone okay." I respond with a simple mhm, as the plane takes off he gets our blanket and places it over both of us and we wait to be told we can be on our phones. Once they tell us it is okay Sam points his phone camera at us and we both wave, Colby gets out his earbuds and phone and we turn on Netflix. I feel myself start to drift off and I end up falling asleep on Colby's shoulder.

Time skip Jake's P.O.V.

I wake up to Colby shaking me telling me we are about to land. We get off the plane, "Did you guys sleep at all?" I ask Sam and Corey when they meet us outside of the gate.
"Not really, you guys?" Corey replies,
"I did but I don't know about Colby." He shakes his head no and we walk to get our bags. We call an Uber and go to check into our hotel, "So I'm thinking that we just chill today, we don't have to go till tomorrow, or we can look around Springfield or something." Colby suggests,
"I want to sleep." Sam says, we all nod in agreement. When we get to the hotel we get a room with two queen sized beds, we are on the 5th floor. We get to our room and flop onto our beds, I take off my jeans and change into shorts and lay back in bed. Colby comes to bed and pulls me into his chest, "Goodnight, love you." He whispers so I can hear him, "I love you too."
"Night guys." We tell the others, soon we all fall asleep.

Sorry this is a short chapter I've been busy with school, I'll try to get the next one out within the next couple of days.
