The light of dawn crept onto Musutafu in a shining array of colour. The spring breeze grazing the Sakura trees, petals drifting onto the pavement. Musutafu was a small city in the East of Japan, the city was known for its beautiful beaches, and breathtaking views. While also having amazing views, Musutafu was also known for being one of the closest cites to the world renown hero school, Yueii Academy.

Students from all across the country, and in some cases the world dreamed of entering the school, in wishes of becoming a hero themselves.
This group included a small teenage boy by the name of Izuku Midoriya.

Izuku had wanted to become a hero ever since he saw his first hero related Video on the internet. In the beginning his mother had fully supported Izuku in his dreams of becoming a hero, and had even encouraged him, that was until Izuku turned four years old. (The age of which almost all people receive their quirks). Izuku had been sitting in the living room watching yet another hero movie, this one was related to the #1 hero All-might.(*Izuku is not even close to as obsessed with All-might as he is in canon, he only owns 2-3 action figures*). He had noticed a pattern with the All-might movies, all of them looked almost identical, just different looking villains.
And so, with that, Izuku became disinterested with any of the All-might movies the press would shove down people's throats. Izuku had decided to start writing notes about the heroes he would see on the internet, of course his notes weren't the neatest, (because he was still four years old), but they were surprisingly detailed. He had began writing notes about two months after he turned four, while simultaneously he began going to grade school (pre-school to grade 6 *japan only has three years in Junior high/middle school* though correct me if im wrong.) Izuku's mother had noticed that even though he had turned 4 a few months ago, he had not shown any signs of having a quirk yet. And so, Inko decided to set up a appointment with a quirk doctor to see what was up.

~
They day of Izuku's quirk appointment approached quicker than expected, though the small boy was excited to finally find out what type of quirk he would receive (or if he wouldn't receive one at all). Just the thought of getting a quirk made the dark haired boy vibrate in excitement.
Inko Midoriya (the boy's mother) had set up the appointment for 10:30 Am. It was currently 9:45 Am, and the ride to the hospital (which is where they had to go to do quirk appointments) was about a 25 minute drive from their house.
Inko looked at the time, and noticed it was time to leave, so she called her son down from his bedroom.
"Izuku! C'mon sweetie! it's time to leave! We wouldn't want to be late now would we?"
Izuku perked up from inside his hero themed bedroom and replied back.
"Okay mama! I'll be down in a sec!"
He replied, before quickly stepping over to his closet, grabbing a pink pull-over (which was slightly too big for him), and his usual red sneakers. Izuku then ran out his door and down the stairs, meeting his mother at the front door.
Inko giggled softy it Izuku's energy before opening the door to let them out.

{°-At the Hospital-°}

Inko and Izuku had arrived at the hospital five minutes before their assigned appointment, which meant they had a small bit of time to sit and wait.

"Izuku Midoriya?"

Both Inko and Izuku perked up, then stood, following the nurse into the hallway, and then to the doctor's office, where they sat down to wait for the doctor to enter the room.
Dr. Ujiko walked in about another minute and a half later holding a stack of papers.
The man had a strange look on his face, and looked towards Izuku.
The man sat down in his chair and turned towards the two person family, adjusting his glasses. Ujiko zeroed his gaze down at Izuku and sighed.
"Sorry kid, it's not going to happen."

Izuku froze dropping his one and only limited edition Eraserhead figure, which he had secretly brought with him.

Inko looked over to the doctor with an obviously forced smile plastered on her face.
"Im sorry, Doc. But what do you mean by that?" She questioned, though she knew the answer quite well.
