[this one is going to be shorter uwu]

when the kids got home, karen stopped cutting vegetables and looked at them. they were still in shock. she went over and hugged them both, making sure they were both alright. "thank you mrs. wheeler. we'll be alright. and thank you again for taking me in." the woman smiled as she kissed her head. "of course dear. why don't you and mike go ahead and sit in his room? dinner will we done in a few." the smaller female nodded. "yes ma'am." she grabbed mike's hand and walked into his room. when she walked in, her daily blush formed as she looked around. he had so many pictures of the both of them. some he had of just her. then there were some with all of their friends, which made her sigh. she kicked off her shoes, sitting on his bed as he joined her. today was the day where she had her hair down and she was wearing a redbone t-shirt and some gym shorts. she looked up at mike, who sat down in front of her. "still shocked?" she asked, and the male nodded. "i just... god, i can't believe it. my best friends just left, and i... i don't know how to react, love" she smiled as she caressed his cheek, kissing him softly. "it's alright, baby. i understand. you've known them for a long time, and seeing them go is hard." she stated softly. "believe me, i understand so well. but i don't get to see her anymore." she was obviously referring to her mother, who she missed more than anything. she felt hot tears fall off her face. "hah, i'm getting emotional again..." she felt mike kiss her tears away before giving her butterfly kisses. "it's alright, sunshine. i know you miss your mom. but my mom and i.. we're gonna take care of you, okay?" she sniffled a bit before nodding. "okay, darling. can we.." he nodded. of course." he walked over to the door, shutting it before he got back onto the bed and kissed her passionately, allowing her to return it with just as much love and passion. the kiss got heated for a moment, causing sophia to sit on his lap while now making him slither down to her neck and leave bites all over. she gasped when she realized what he was finally doing and she wacked him. "mike, what the hell!?" she squealed, causing him to laugh. "sorry babygirl, i got excited." she felt something poke her from underneath, and she sighed. "i can tell." he then blushed, tossing her off him. "michael wheeler, i'm gonna kill you!" she grabbed a pillow and whacked him with it. "this is war, sophia brown!" he yelled at her before they both stood up, now having an pillow fight with one another while laughing. it lasted about fourty-five minutes until karen ended up walking in. mike's tent had went down and she wasn't able to see the hickeys. "okay, it's time to become teenagers again and stop having a pillow fight. dinner's ready." she exited the room, making them both laugh before sharing a sweet kiss. "c'mon, sunshine. we need to hide my markings." he giggled before she blushed, rolling her eyes. "oh, shut up wheeler." they went into the bathroom, getting into karen's make-up as they hid the hickeys with concealer. when they finished, they shared another kiss before making it to the dinner table. they sat down next to each other, serving themselves before they started to eat. the entire family started to have a normal conversation, with mike drinking milk before karen squinted. "sophia? why are you wearing concealer on your neck?" the boy next to her almost spit up his milk while the female choked before grabbing mike's milk from him and chugging some of it. when she looked back at the adult, she started to get nervous. "i-- uh--"

"mike, you did a terrible job hiding the hickeys." nany hummed, making sophia's face redden.

"NANCY!"
