Mom!
Mom!
"Look what I found in the garden".
It was a ladybug , our basic science teacher taught us that back in primary school (as we called it).
"Yes dear" Mom answered me
"Look mom,i found a ladybug in our garden, isn't it beautiful"
"Yes it is dear,now be a good girl and take it back where you found it. I don't want insects in our food,also it has a family that's waiting for it"Mom cajoled me.
"That's true I don't want to hurt you little buddy,so bye"
And I returned it back where I found it,"see you around "I said.
That was my life, well before my calamity befell me........

"Hunny, come to the dining table for dinner,and daddy's home"Mom shouted from the kitchen.
I ran down, shouting"daddy", he took me in his arms and gave me a kiss, I giggled, and he dropped me on my chair. This was our daily routine. Mom served the food,and we ate while chatting about our day.
Then Dad dropped the bombshell,"Hunny we've been thinking about your secondary school lately and have come to the conclusion that you'll attend ............
Fast forward........
Scratch that
I just introduced you to the innocent and naive little girl I used to be, which by the way I'm not anymore.
Wanna know why and how. I'll tell you
'Highschool
Or as we call it in my country
Nigeria,
'Secondary school'.
I wonder if the adage, 'pass through the school and let the school pass through you' was accomplished, maybe I'll find out as I analyse the details with you.
I guess I didn't learn the right things,nor the very worst, but I think I learnt enough about life,and it's headaches,and I'm just fine with that. I've hurt and also been hurt.
I'm not your typical highschool nerd,who falls in love with the hottest boy in school and love each other till eternity. I don't really believe in the word LOVE.
Mine was an unforeseen mistake. I'm not here to tell you about cheesy romance fictions. I'm here to tell you my life.
