"Birthday party or birthday pity"

On the celebrity front, things weren't as joyful as we thought it'd be. Zayn Malik's long time girlfriend Shirley mustaine 22, a  fashion designer who worked with well known fashion icons and being equally famous among the industry was no where to be seen in the party of the star. But her car was found near the Columbia water front, Columbia St.
People present there weren't aware of the abrupt incident. The star was present with his acquaintance Nora Thompson. The investigators found few belongings of the designer but no sign of the girl. Zayn was quite about the miserable event but turns out his friend raged to one of the reporter telling them to back off and not to ask  questions. Investigation is still continued by the department for searching the 22 year old designer.

Zayn was staring at the old newspaper which he had dumped in his drawer. He looked at it once again reading the same news for god knows how many times. He couldn't get enough of what happened that time. He lost his one and only angel. The joint was on the verge of touching his lower lip. He removed the joint from his lips and pressed it on the ash tray. He was empty now knowing the fact that he will never be able to look at his Shiza the way he did before. Somewhere in his heart he was a tad bit convinced that he won't find her but just like the cigarette smoke he the blew the thought away. He'll find her and prove the world wrong.

Just as he was about to take a sip of his Macallan, Nora entered his room without a knock. He doesn't look up to notice that Nora was already in his room. She stops on her tracks when she watches his friend staring at the same old news after so many years. That's when she snatches the paper away from him and places it in the same drawer.
"How many times Z? It's been three years and still you're the same. I don't want to see you like this. What is it that I can do to make you feel happy again because I don't know what would do."

"Bring me my Shiza back will you?"

"Zayn we discussed this for the umpteenth time now. I am tired." She sighs and quiet pissed at his best friend.
"It's not the same Nora. Nothing is the same, this party, this gathering, the interaction, nothing is worth my time. I should be out there looking what my Shiza is doing. Did she have food? Did she sleep properly cause her 'beauty sleep' is more important to her I know." He says while letting a light chuckle out. "She needs me and I need her desperately. I-I please" he wasn't able to utter anything after that.

"Zayn stop it! Stop torturing yourself. Please I'm begging you. You gotta get over it. Over HER!!" Nora's words were enough to piss Zayn. He was furious, he snapped his head up.

"What do you mean by over HER!!!??? FUCKING HELL!" he grabbed his hair, messing it up a bit with tight fists.
"How, you tell me how?!! Nora! I ain't got a clue how to forget her! She's the only one I remember existed in my not so colorful life. What do you expect from me huh?!"

"What's going on? Nora? Zayn?" Steve Nora's husband came up to see what was the yelling about. That's when Zayn interrupted him,
"Steve please take her with ya"
"No I'm not going anywhere knowing that my best friend is drinking his ass off and getting ridiculously high over someone who isn't amongst us."

"HEY! DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT!!!"

Zayn's yelling was getting louder, he was upset and angry at the same time.
"Or what? You know that, she left us. She left you. She l-lleft m-me. She left everyone and you think drinking is gonna help you. I miss her Z, every single day. But she is no where when I need her, when you need her the most. But this is only going to break us break y-yo-uu." She muttered while sobbing. Instead of getting mad at her, Zayn reaches out to nora and grabs her shoulder. He couldn't see the misery in his friend's eyes. He gave her a consoling hug as she sobbed more just by the mentioning of Shirley's incident.
