I drove Denise back to Dawson house but had to make a quick stop by the gas station store. '' Den Den you want some out of here?'' i asked before i departed from her. '' Yes mam''' she said struggling to remove her seat belt. I walked up to the cash register to get my gas while Denise ran to get candy. Some guys walked in one smiled at me but I didn't return it back, Denise ran back up to the register with 10 Hershey bars. "Denise why you always over do things? What about you subtract 8 okay" I said to her. She looked at her fingers and started subtracting then looked at me "But that'll leave me 2 Aunty Tj" she said with a sad face. "I know now go put 8 back" I requested of her, she ran off and came back still frowning. I handed the man the money for gas and the chocolate. Denise ran to the car with the bag in her hand and all I could do was smile. I pulped the gas and then drove back to my brother house to chill for awhile...Yes theres still tension between us but Jerome right I gotta talk to him sooner then later, I pulled up to my brothers house feeling like there was a knot in my stomach scared to think of what will go down but i grabbed the the cupcakes and Denise grabbed the cereal and candy. We walked up to the door and Dawson opened the door for us he didnt smile when he saw me it was almost like he was looking passed me or through. "Uhm hey Dawnson"i said. He just looked at Denise"You had fun? You got what you wanted baby girl?" He said smiling down at her. "Yesh" she said with a big smile.
I walked into the kitchen and talked with Dawsons soon to be fiancè,we laughed while drinking coffee and watching the news we saw there was a robbery at the store that me and Denise had left 15 mins ago but it happen right after we left
"There was 2 killed and 4 injured in a robbery today at a local conveint store by 3 masked men..." the news cast woman reported as the ambulance carried bodies. "Me and Denise just lefted from there i guess we was the lucky ones" i said with a tear....
